      >Honda FC are the only one to keep the same name from the pre-J.League days
      >they are now in the Japanese 4th tier

Yeah but they do that intentionally because being promoted means they lose their corporation. Instead they farm the 4th league where they've won 6 of the last 10 titles.

When a Jap fan means to say ''The number 10 of FC Tokyo'', it can sound ''Gas, No, israelite, Ban''

The football league competed between employers of corporations was the highest level of football league before Japan got a Pro league
They decided that a pro club shouldn't have corporation's name in its name so every one of them that promoted to the pro league changed their name

Japan still has the culture that corporations have teams of amateur athletes so most Japanese olympic athletes belong to well-known corporations as employees, technically
I wonder if some other countries have similar systems

When do they train or play if Japs work 12 hours a day and spend the rest of the day drinking with their boss?

They are mostly allowed to focus on sports they play
