Because it makes them look like hypocrites with every hit piece they've put out about AEW whenever they do anything bloody or a bit outside the box. It's ironic too because you look back and the Attitude Era or even the Ruthless Aggression years and what you got tonight would be the norm. You'd get blood to heighten big matches or storylines. And that's because that shit works, and it works so well. Yet they've spent so many years calling it 'barbaric' or 'part of wrestling's past' and acting like they're above it ever since. Funny enough when it's fitting for them look what they can do. And I'm glad they did because this shit desperately needed something along the lines of it

That was just Vince spewing bullshit to appeal to sponsors and the kids, bruv. Now suddenly when he's nearly out of the picture, they're doing shit to make it interesting and dramatic again.
...took a little while to get there though. Goddamn guys, what took you? You have to wonder what the creative process looks like.

How does WWE look hypocritical at all? AEW needs people giving themselves concussions weekly, continuing the match despite injury on a throw away episodes of Rampage, no story lines no nothing. What's barbaric about AEW is how often they'll go outside of the box when it's been proven not to pop a rating. AEW is more CZW than WWE.

The build to Mania has been utter dogshit. Ratings have been decreasing every show for the past few weeks. That said tickets are selling like crazy so no. I doubt they care all too much and their backs aren't against anything. This feud definitely needed some kind of spark though and tonight was a solid shot at it

        >The build to Mania has been utter dogshit.
According to you? The ratings say otherwise and so do ticket sales. So it's you being upset that they're ramping up to Wrestlemania?

          >According to you?
Of course it's according to me. That's how subjective statements work dipshit. They're opinions. To your point about quantitative measures though
          >The ratings say otherwise
The ratings have dropped on every show for the past two weeks. May not be by any colossal means but it's Mania season and the Rock is around. That's not exactly what you'd be hoping for in either of those instances

No I'm really entertained that you think you have so salient point about fake fighting and are so upset that there was a great episode of RAW leading to Wrestlemania. Tell me more about what you do on Planet moron? You an elected official?

Wait what? The entire point I was making was agreeing that their backs aren't against the way and that what they did tonight was a good thing that helped make the build to Mania more interesting. And you've spun that to end up with this idea how?

          >The ratings say otherwise and so do ticket sales
those are both pretty closely related to momentum, it's something you build up or lose over time. a few bad decisions wont effect it right away.
