Tony no longer has the power to suspend Jack Perry now that he's in The Elite. He's untouchable.

why does christopher daniels have the power to overrule evp decisions then?

Especially considering Daniels' official title is interim EVP.

Just because you can't be fired or suspended doesn't mean you have final say on the show. You seem to be confused.

The EVPs came out to award Jack Perry the belt.
            There are 3 EVPs
Christopher Daniels, who is now also an EVP, said no we're doing a latter match instead.
There is only 1 Christopher Daniels.

How does Daniels overrule 3 people who have the same rank as him?

            Anonymous

Also, all of this would have been fixed if Daniels title was Interim President and not interim EVP.

            Anonymous

Christopher Daniels is the on-screen avatar for Tony Khan. The Bucks don't have the book Tony does.
            >latter match
Didn't realize I was talking to an actual moron. No wonder you can't follow along.

            >Christopher Daniels is the on-screen avatar for Tony Khan. The Bucks don't have the book Tony does.
That would be fine if his official title was "Interim President", but that's not his title. His title is "Interim EVP".
So he doesn't have anymore or any less power than they do.

And if you're argument is that, despite his title, he has Tony's level of authority, why doesn't he suspend or even fire them?

The Cucks can do whatever they want because they have "iron clad contracts". So why didn't they use their EVP power until about 2 months ago?

OK, just as a quick board strokes question, who is booking AEW at this moment?
          Is it the Bucks?

If it is the Bucks, why aren't they booking it in a manner that would actually be adventurous to him? Like, just as an example, if they're the bookers, why not book Bryan Danielson to face the whole roster as a punishment for helping Tony in that match? Why not book themselves to get endless title shots?

Also, on this weeks Dynamite, they wanted to get Jungle Boy the TNT title, Christopher Daniels somehow overruled them. There are 3 EVPs that wanted to do it, so how do they not overrule him back? Why did they somehow just go along with Daniels' plan?

          >OK, just as a quick board strokes question, who is booking AEW at this moment?
          >Is it the Bucks?
Probably. It's clear they're politicking harder than Hogan.
          >If it is the Bucks, why aren't they booking it in a manner that would actually be adventurous to him?
          Because they're idiots.

Why doesn't he just book them in a handicap match against ten guys and pay those guys under the table to make sure the EVPs all have "accidents"?

          Anonymous

Frick that, why don't the EVPs do that to everyone they don't like?

          >"bad guys" take over
          >nothing big really happens
they know nothing about how to get heat

Exactly, there's no real difference between them running the show and Tony running to show.
Who booked the Casino Battle Royale? If it was the books, why and why didn't they have Okada in it?

Like, if you compare the Elite running the shows versus something like NWO Souled Out, you can tell that this was an NWO show with NWO announcers and all the NWO guys went over.

OK, here's a simple thing, when they got mad at Swerve for reasons that have yet to be properly explained an booked him to face Christian, why didn't they book Okada instead so the Elite can have the world title?

      It's true.
There's plenty wrong with AEW. But nonsensical stories are really the least of their problems. I was critical of Allin with the flamethrower but, hell, people enjoyed that shit.
Thin out the roster and fix the booking. Run a tighter ship. These are the things I care more about.

Tony will never do this again for some reason. My theory is its like with kids that grew up poor and hustle for the rest of their lives to become millionaires and billionaires. Same thing with Tony and wrestlers. He started with a small no name roster but now that he has enough tv contract money he can just buy all of the wrestlers without giving up on someone

You realize this stupid shit is exactly the same as the Bishoff, Hogan, Dixie Carter storyline from 2010 and it was moronic then?
In fact, it's also similar to WCW when at random points, Roddy Piper or or Eric Bishoff or Ric Flair or Larry Zybsyko would suddenly say they're the president of WCW.

Why dont the Bucks book themselves in matches they cant lose? Because whats intergral to the storyline is they belive they are the good guys and them being on top is best for business. It works under the idea that they arent complete WWE style chickenshit heels that cant win matches and want to put on competitive matches with them at the center to make the most money. Hell of a lot better than Hunter having a "best for business' excuse for what he did over 20 years while 75% of the fans bailed

Fricked up as that seems of COURSE it would be a storyline in wrasslin when the guys running the show would have done shit like that back in the 70s and 80s. I think a lot of the storylines that should attract criminal charges happen because part of wrestling culture is "Nah dont worry cops dont give a frick what the Von Erich boys do down here lets get the coke prostitutes and baseball bats"
