just use this - a football (the correct type of football) is round. You can't play football with a flat ball, it would be called frisbee.

Damn, someone should tell the IFAB that the sacred Laws of the game are not correct. They should asterisk* the terms rectangle, line etc. and note that the terms are used in the common sense, not in the mathematical sense (a line is infinite, what they meant is segments or (in the curved version) arcs).

Why do midwits and pseuds get so mad that some people believe in flat earth? I think it's because they can't prove them wrong.

And it works because conspiracy theorists believe in any old shit if you tell them "they" are trying to hide the truth and anyone who disagrees is either paid off or stupid.

      >Why do midwits and pseuds get so mad that some people believe in flat earth?

Atheists just love to prove how atheist-y they are. They consider flat Earth to be bible shit. It's also why 'we believe in science in this house' is one of the phrases on their rainbow flaggot troony lawn signs.

Most flat earthers don't seem to be drawn to flat eartherism on any sort of religious grounds. In this dumb debate, the pastor is the one arguing that the earth is round and that Austin guy is the flat earther.
