AEW is full of children, and veterans looking to coast. Punk's mistake was trying to galvanize the company to do better when all they're really doing is milking Tony. i'm sure Punk wanted to do something more meaningful at some point and wanted to get out of the company asap when he realized nothing he does there will mean much with Tony still in charge.

also take one look at the people who talk positively about CM Punk, and one look at the people who are confirmed to dislike him.
            >Stone Cold
            >Rock
            >Cena
            >Undertaker

            >moxley
            >ryback
and you can kinda see who are the kwabs and who arent

not even gonna mention drew and seth because they may just be working anyway, and even then im sure they dont dislike him enough to not work with him, unlike the evps.

          Smackdownie.

Nailed it, anon. Ratings used to be in the sevens for frick's sake. Millennial gays who think some glorified vanilla midget is "relatable" marking out for WWE drawing WCW 2000 numbers at best KWAB.

Millennials are the ones who grew up watching in the late 90s ya fossil..

Tony listens to the kind of morons who reviewbomb Cagematch but have no ability to have an adult conversation and share their opinions in an organized way.

In a way it makes sense, like when you hear people say stuff like "I'd rather have one ride or die best friend than 10 fake friends!" In a way it makes sense Tony would rather have a fanbase of 600k die-hard AEW fans instead of 2-3x the number of wishy-washy off and on viewers.

The issue is that he's convinced he has to choose, that the moment he cuts match times to fit in more promos/storytelling, he'll gain 300k casuals but immediately lose 500k die-hards. It's really weird. If I was losing as much money as Tony is, I'd kind of insist on the whole "well, at least I still like the show I'm making" deal - why lose money AND make a show you don't enjoy? I completely understand the rationale. But that doesn't make it not odd.

Bucks/Hangman/Omega should have all been, at minimum, roasted live on the air by someone not named CM Punk, to give Punk a little catharsis and possibly keep him from spazzing out. Let the women do it, let tag teams do it, let the commentators do it, let everyone do it until their precious little 6 months passed - and then have it all come to a head. But instead they had to be little pricks about it and Tony let them get away with it. 0 money earned from it, all that opportunity flushed down the toilet. Great work, boss.

The ELITE were getting roasted on-air long before Phil was even in the company.

          >possibly keep him from spazzing out

Because you clearly have other people that can draw. Also, Punk would be an amazing Heyman-like manager. Punk can do commentary. Tons of things you can do with him.

Theres a pretty big caveat here. And that is CM Punk in Chicago is a big draw. We saw this with his original return. He popped a big number in Chicago, and then fell off from there. He also needs to go away for awhile, and then make his debut return in Chicago for this magic trick to work.

This is the piss poor draw of the guy who the entire wrestling industry killed itself over in order to appease his stupid rhetoric? No don't have guys who actually look and act like wrestlers, instead hire homosexuals who virtue like crazy on social media and who look like they just got off the couch heading to work at Walmart.... imagine bragging about this, let me see... quarter hour bias, hasn't been on tv in a while bias, and this is all he got? Pathetic

How did Tony kWAb managed to drop the ball so hard?

      Anonymous
