Honestly i think its over for him. Joining an already 10/10 Madrid to statpad against Osasuna (nobody will watch that) and then you only have champions league and the ocasional copa de rey game. Add to that hes not getting younger and France team have a bad euro and world cup and its pretty much the end of his career.

unironically what does he lose upon joining chelshit? yes, guaranteed titles in spain, but surely pulling a dogshit team out of the depths of hell and becoming an epl superstar would be better for his legacy. if he can do that, of course. obviously it wont happen. hes joining madrid, but if he was based...

            Bro you have no idea.
This country expects you to work 40+ days a week for 1300€ a month (before taxes) for your entire life.
No wonder most people still live with their parents.
If we're counting first-world countries (a group which Italy may very well be leaving soon), Italy is BY FAR the one with the least opportunities to having a good life.

It is pure wagecucking hell. Even people who get good degrees like STEM or programming get the frick out immediately and go do their jobs somewhere else.

            >join a political group and get into politics, not for doing actual politics but for money exclusively
            >wagecuck your entire life away for pennies
            >start some shit on the Internet and hope it blows up

in my area i can get 800-1000 Euros for the first job with an engineering degree. i literally earn more than that by bartending. and 90% of lucrative public jobs in this branch (construction) done by the city they give to the same 3 firms that are connected politically.

never gonna move out of my parents house, frick that. if i do i'll go abroad rather than pay rent here.

            >in my area i can get 800-1000 Euros for the first job with an engineering degree
That fricking sucks, but I'd say the work itself and the hours are better than the bartending right?
I'd also guess cost of life is a little better there. 1300 euros here a month is literally nothing, doesnt get you shit. And I'm not talking about "living the high life" I'm talking about just getting by

            >That fricking sucks, but I'd say the work itself and the hours are better than the bartending right?
            yeah that's true
so do you (Italians) pay "rent" to your parents while living at home, or is that a Western thing?

            Anonymous

            >pay "rent" to your parents while living at home
Nah dude, paying rent to your parents sounds very alien to me.
Keep in mind I'm from Tuscany though so I don't know how things work in the south or the north.
My parents were pretty pushy about me getting a job, but never about getting a new place (not like I could afford it).

Essentially we just live with our parents and get a job. That's the Italian grind.
Both parents working, all the children working, and if you manage to get a girlfriend who isn't a complete psychopath (HUGE ask these days) she has to work as well. All to just get by.

my entire friend group of 5 guys (plus me) works and lives at home, most with a degree. you're right the cost of life is lower and personally for me it's comfortable this way. it only sux because it's fricking rocket science to spend time with a girlfriend. we were just talking about how we should all aim to get girlfriends that have their own place, kek.

Why not being a neet? I assume your family owns property. Maybe even land. One of the good things about Southern Europe is that our families are old and they are not rentoids.

Electronics are cheap as frick nowadays and you can have a decent second hand hp computer for like 150 euros. Pirate everything. Your mom must be a good cook, you can eat good food everyday. Read good literature, try watching a good movie everyday, daily walks. You can have the life of noble rennaissance man. That is basically how I live.

They are just smart with their money and their signings usually go well, the only exception being Eden Hazard.

some are saying they'll sell vini if not this summer then by next

the BBC, bizarrely, seems to imply Mbappe will play some kind of left-central midfield role?
        >England midfielder Jude Bellingham playing a deeper role, Brazilian Vinicius Jr playing on the left and Mbappe playing left of centre.
        The left CM role??
Or maybe they mean in a more of a Man City Pep style 3-2-4-1, with 4 attackers behind the striker, vini beng the furthest left, mbappe being the one next to him.
But that's one hell of a reach, that system is pure Pep and is fluid and only works with his attention to detail. Have this incarnation of Real (under Ancelotti, past couple of years) EVER played ANYTHING like that? they seem to pretty rigidly stick to 433, whether theyre dominating or are under pressure (like vs city, where they just countered)

          Anonymous

I don’t think they can sell him this summer even if they secretly wanted to, especially if he helps them win the CL without mbappe. He’ll just have far too much good will built up. The drama will begin in earnest after next season especially if any player even so much as underperforms in the slightest.

      Anonymous

I’m fact I’ll go even further, we will see how the future will go very shortly with what the future of his brother looks like. Lucho told the mbappe family to frick off and for the ownership to shut out his brother and stop pretending like this third rate no talent shit had any place at a real club and to stop forcing him on the manager after mbappe told the club he was leaving in January. If Ethan gets a nice cushy paycheck at castilla in the future then Real Madrid is eternally fricked. The entire culture of the club will be murdered by a no talent nepo baby.

Sans Argentina and Brazil (who undoubtedly are top tier) the rest of south america is complete dogshit and couldn't even advance in the WC. Argentina and Brazil will always have the disadvantage of not having easy access to any other competitive nation other than themselves.

The funniest part is that he was probably quoting Messi and Neymar indirectly. At the time he said it both Brazil and Argentina were complaining that with the Euros and the Nations League and so on, Brazil and Argentina were having a very hard time getting matches with other top tier nations and were complaining that the lack of matches with euro top teams would make their own quality suffer.
