Why the frick does Barcelona buy so many shit players when they produce so much gold in La Masia? It's actually incredible how good their academy is, they even had a 17 year old dominate that shitter Osimhen in a champions league knockout.

because the academy stopped producing for a while. It was only frauds.

        >he fell for La Masia marketing

La Masía has always made good players. The thing is that there's a difference between those and actual world class players, which is what they keep trying to market them as, and they do it so often that whenever they have a promising player it doesn't feel like he is because everything they say about him they said about some other guy a couple of seasons ago. Take that Cubarsi kid, yeah he might look promising but they used to say the same things about Marc Bartra before he got absolutely destroyed by Gareth Bale.

That being said most of the La Masía players tend to be at least Europa League tier, which is a feat in and of itself

He had quality (as in better than many memewingers like Anthony) before his knees exploded, which is 100 the teams fault as Barcelona might have the worst team of physios in all of elite football right now

    >is 5'10" so the perfect height to be an agile dribbler while also having some physicality

Would be a shame if he has another growth spurt that ruins his playstyle. It happened to Havertz iirc, when he first burst onto the scene he was around 6'1", then he grew to 6'4" and now he's a useless lump

Hope he manage to retain his skills if he got another growth spurt. That kind of Ibrahimovic-like dribbler is just a rare sight in football.

Oh yeah it is, it's just Gavi sounds stronger or something idk how to describe it. Pablo is just normal.

Pablo sounds like some cuñado in a family reunion while Gavi sounds more appropriate for a zoomer, which he is
