Maybe when that empty headed frick apologizes and admits he fricked up, big time. Punk was the bigger star, he’s the veteran, he’s the fricking DRAW beyond draws, especially in AEW at that time. You don’t shoot on him, you don’t attack his heckin doggo, you don’t embarrass him.
Hangman had a chance to sit under the learning tree of a legend; he instead chose to spit in my fricking face and the face of everyone who watched pro wrestling.

Heya Punk. Slow night? I thought pro wrestlers would always be busy or something.
By the way, good job on Monday. Keep that ego in check and I'm sure you'll have your mania main event as long as you take care of that body.
And would it kill you to put on SOME muscle?

        >"HANGMAN could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this airport before. There could be COWBOYS anywhere." The cold wind felt good against his bare calves. "I HATE HANGMAN" he thought. About Damn Time reverberated through the air, making him pulsate even as the Nitro Pepsi circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of cowboys outside of work. "With a plane, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

WWE wrestlers are actually professionals instead of whiny outlaw mudshow children on the other fed.

Even if Phil says something that will piss off a wrestler backstage he'd be shat on by management and the wrestler himself so he's already on some kind of filter even at the bare minimum.

Phil already chimped out in WWE before AEW even existed. And he's only gotten worse since then. The only thing that might keep him in line is that this is his last opportunity.

What did he do? If you're talking about him quitting that is different from all the shit he did in AEW.

He talked shit about wrestlers behind their back, complained about the company to others while he was still wrestling there and was generally a moody strange guy (Gaytch basically called him a shizo on the Austin podcast). Then he chimped out and no showed, told he wasn't gonna job. And after all that bullshit WWE fired him. Punk then proceeded to shit on WWE claiming they were actively trying to kill him despite Vince basically saying he's willing to take him back. I don't know which is worse but he definitely did the same autistic shit in WWE.

Everyone chimps out at wrestling but Phil never pissed off someone backstage that it led to a real fight or even confrontation.

Because even Phil knows he'd get rekt by that wrestler and/or Vince.

Even today he's mindful because Hunter will kick his ass even if he's on a pacemaker.

          >Everyone chimps out at wrestling but Phil never pissed off someone backstage that it led to a real fight or even confrontation.
I think there's three things to take into account here.

          1. Punk has gotten worse with age, not better. If he was a mild shizo back in 2014, now he's a full on shizo.

          2. Back when Punk left WWE that was the only game in town, so you'd be a lot more careful on stepping on people's toes since you'd be sent back working the indies for a hotdog and a handshake. Now Punk has options (well, at least had)

          3. Punk expected to be treated like royalty in AEW because he was the first 'fed bad' guy. He thought himself as a leader of le resistance. When Tony didn't catter enough to his needs and clearly preferred the Elite over him, that made him snap even more.

Lol’d at the thought of Punk doing an interview on MMA Hour w/ Ariel of all people. Dude was a professional jobber in MMA. That being said knowing Ariel it is ducking guarenteed that he’s going to at least try HARD to ask a bunch of AEW questions lmao.
