I'm just asking you to explain how being in the red matters if you can just use write-offs to get out of it. By definition, then, he would no longer be in the red, wouldn't he?

    >No, we didn’t get everything we wanted. Our goal all along was to change the sport. However, we had quite a few delays that we had to deal with. And to get injunctive relief, ie change the sport, we would have had to refile both lawsuits and combine them, go through discovery all over again, retake depositions, about a five year delay and then hope we get granted class action status again. We’d be looking at another ten years just to be where we are today with no guarantee of winning any punitive amount of injunctive change.
    ...
    >And as you know, we would have to win EVERYTHING. The UFC only has to win ONCE. One juror thinks we signed a contract so we get what we deserve. One appellate court doesn’t like our expert and sends us back to start. The Supreme Court is pro business/anti-worker.

The UFCs contracts have new provisions to scare fighters from hitting them with a new antitrust lawsuit.
