Spent all their energy on winning the PL and FA Cup, the two biggest things in England. Lost their best players to transfers (I know Drinkwater was shit but he was vital for Lestah) and Vardy just got old. Had Vardy been 24 when they won the PL they'd either have sold him for £100m aged 30 or still be up in the PL. Plus their Chairman dying.

They'll be back in the PL next year so everything is fine.

Forgot to say, also ended up in Europe and they didn't have the depth to keep up with it and then when you have bad seasons people come and pick your best players away offering a 'better' option and unless you do a Brighton and pick quality players to replace them (i.e, luck or good scouts) then you plummet.

Nothing? They still gonna win the Championship and return to the PL next year.

      >They still gonna win the Championship and return to the PL next year.

You two haven't watched them this season. Despite being top they have been complacent as frick. I can genuinely see Leeds and Ipswich overtaking them. Leeds have the title-winning experience in Daniel Farke while Ipswich have the unstoppable Kieran McKenna in charge.

They are 100% guaranteed to choke in the play-offs after bottling automatic promotion. If you're not betting on that now then you deserve to be poor.

Who are they going to lose against in the playoffs, lads? I'm thinking West Brom

They flew too close to the sun. They should have settled for being an upper-table team in the Premier League and kept their team together.

Last season’s team was probably the best ever pl team to get relegated. Danny Ward is one of the worst keepers this league has seen, i don’t know how Rodgers replaced Schmeichel with Ward. They kept losing games start of the year and Ward was shit.

Vardy, Kelechi, Barnes, Maddison, Tielemana, KDH, Ndidi. That is a europa league squad, not a relegation one.

I think their current decline is partly a coaching problem. The Leicester coach is new to this level of management/coaching and can’t get the players out of this slump. There is a big chance Leicester aren’t getting promoted. Leeds have become clear favourites

Don't forget Brenda falling out with Vestergaard. That was an embarrassingly bad bit of management.

I genuinely think there's some divine entity protecting Everton from relegation at this point, boggles my mind they stayed up over Leicester last season

      oof

I keep forgetting how great Ipswich have done as well, heard so many people said they're going to slip but they're ahead of Saints and Leicester

Ipswich are ridiculous. This squad is going to get to the Premier League.

i hope you don't think it's a coincidence that fifa set the (first and likely only december) world cup final one day after Jorge Mario Bergoglio's(Pope Francis, the first pope to live in suite 201 at the Vatican) 86th birthday (when he was 1032 months old, when roman catholic and lionel messi=132) and 107 weeks after Diego Maradona's death (Diego Maradona = 107, won world cup in '86) while made messi stayed alone in hotel room 201 (like the pope lives alone in the Domus Sanctae Marthae suite #201 in the vatican city), which is now a museum run by the Qatari tourism board(https://www.si.com/fannation/soccer/futbol/news/lionel-messis-qatar-bedroom-to-become-world-cup-museum)

Unironically Thai black magic. It's also why their owner died in a helicopter crash.
