Why do influencers 9 times of out 10 go for boxing matches instead of MMA matches?

Why do influencers 9 times of out 10 go for boxing matches instead of MMA matches? MMA is by far and away the more popular sport and since these are for revenue anyway at the end of the day why not broaden the audience?

(No idea where this is supposed to go so I'll take the ban if I'm wrong)

Because they have a lot of female fans. Girls don't want to see guys half naked cuddling on the floor, they want to see strong guys kill weak guys with a hard punch, like Jake against Woodley or Joshua against Francis Black personanus

because influencers have already captured the homosexual scene so they don't need to pander to you anymore OP

Despite how homosexual you have to be to be an "influencer", sweatydickgrab: the sport is infinitely gayer.

Because most celebs aren't going to take the time to learn boxing or mma. It's easier for someone unskilled to box poorly than do mma poorly.

Because memeing a rigged event in a completely dead sport with somewhat of a history is way more realistic than trying to cut into the current biggest sport with big names

MMA is way more technical to learn vs boxing where you just throw punches. BJJ is the difficult part of learning MMA since you'll just get tapped out in 5 seconds if you don't know how to defend yourself.

There’s no money in MMA. Ngannou made his biggest paydays ever fighting Fury and Joshua. Conversely all the old MMA guys who fought Jake Paul made more money fighting Jake than they did their entire career working for the PooFC.

There's more skills involved with MMA than boxing. You have to be able to wrestle, do stand-up and submissions. You just have to train boxing for boxing.

I'm not saying one is easier than the other, but you don't have to have all kinds of different training for boxing.
