That squad was beastly. KG, Perkins + Davis were the combined body mass of the entire 2022 Celtics squad. Ray Allen from the perimeter, Rondo with the quickness and Pierce with the peach fuzz sweet touch….that series was gritty as hell, and that made it great.
They absolutely blew this golden opportunity. The East is just going to get better in the years to come. If Scottie Barnes becomes a legitimate superstar you can say goodbye to any chance of winning. The East will belong to Scottie or Giannis.
