Are there any sports teams they actually care about or are their just fair weather bandwagoners to their core?

They produce a shit of actual athletes so that's all that matters. Florida has the most nfl.players of any state

        Actually it's neither

But still impressive given that California has twice the population of Florida

*most 1st round draft picks, I believe

Per capita they are way up there but I think are edged out by Georgia and maybe Louisiana

You just know that they are not using ticket scans (which my backarse local hockey club did since 2008)

    >You're a fair weather bandwagoner for not wanting to put up with the worst winning percentage in all baseball since 1993
    >You're a fair weather bandwagoner for not wanting to put up with 21 of your 24 best ever players getting traded away
    >You're a fair weather bandwagoner for not wanting to put up with a stadium location in a poor neighborhood with no public transportation where you're expected to pay the locals to park in their driveway like it's still a fricking college gameday
    >You're a fair weather bandwagoner for not wanting to put up with all the lies of said shiny new ballpark to increase payroll being laid bare
I wish I could strap you to a chair there and listen to you admit at the end of the season how little two good years matter in the long run. And they were the ONLY two good years, no other seasons above 90 wins. You should be on your hands and knees in awe of us for bearing all of this. Frick you, the beach is just 20 minutes away. I have better things to do.

wait really? I swore they had buses

Well it's not like buses really cut it for an American stadium. The nearest station for the city's meager rail line is in the ghetto half an hour's walk away and across a drawbridge.

Fairweather indeed. There's too much shit to do down here. If the teams aren't competitive and fun to watch I don't give a shit. Not like they pay my bills. Also our home field advantage non existant with all the northerners down here.

Dolphins are decently supported (relative) but there's too many things to do in Florida to give a shit about bad teams. Especially their baseball teams which are pretty much lessons in how to not build up a loyal fanbase.
College football is supported at least.

I have a cousin in Florida and he's the most plastic sports fan I have ever met. He supports Chelsea (although I've seen him wear PSG and Real Madrid shirts), Boston Celtics and the LA Rams.
