numbers seem good but for me he doesn't pass the eye test, first of all he has 0 rizz, secondly i don't get how his teams press, it seemed very ineffective at Chelsea, but on the other hand Chelsea still looks the same. He just hasn't that dog in him imho.

Good. Flirting with female colleagues is a bad idea at Ajax.

I think anybody's time at current Chelsea should come with a massive asterisk.

Both him and De Zerbi are frauds, the former has already been exposed at Chelsea and the latter will be exposed by whoever is dumb enough to buy in to the hype next.

De Zerbi at least got Brighton in the Europa League, Potter's greatest achievement is finishing 9th in a relatively low level season

Good enough for Ajax but he'll cost 20x what Feyenoord will pay Rogier Meijer next season

will be good if he can attract some English youth to go there to develop. They can become like Dortmund

He doesn't have the balls to manage a mercenary club like Chelsea, but he'll do well at a club that allows him to develop a project.

Interesting. Nobody at ajax was given time the last two years, but there seems to be a change in attitude among fans. Some dutch media frauds are still getting ready to shit on any coach who isn't their personal friend, so let's see. At least there will (hopefully) be some chemistry between the higher ups at ajax and the coach.

He took over a 4th-tier Swedish team (Ostersund) and over the course of 7 seasons, got them promoted to the top flight, won the Swedish Cup, got to the knockout stages of the Europa League and beat Arsenal 2-1 at home (although they got eliminated on aggregate).

Pretty based. Reminds me of Kjetil Knutsen who was also a candidate to become the Ajax coach.

Potter is the best English coach of his generation if Ajax have a decent academy these days (doesn't seem like it) and give him 3/4 years he will transform tbe club hugely.

I rate him far higher than De Zerbi, but his football wasn't as attacking.

      >if Ajax have a decent academy these days (doesn't seem like it)
One one hand their youth academy is shit, on the other hand it's getting ready to be reformed and their main team is basically a youth team.
