Yes, a World Cup. Not everyone manages to win one.

World cups are nice, but its a dumb way to evaluate palyers based on some moronic birthright. Portugal would never win the world cup even if ronaldo didn't exist.

If we look at the biggest competition based solely on merit (ucl) we see that ronaldo is the best

            > Winning with a completely artificial superteam made possible solely through a humongous historical economic advantage is more meritorious than winning with only players from your country

            lol
            lmao even
Always funny to realize there are people this dumb roaming the planet

Madrid, City, Barcelona etc are big teams because of merit over the years.

Brazil, France, Germany are literally set for life because they will always have huge pools of players to pick from, all because they're bigger countries.

Not understanding such basic stuff is wild, in my opinion.

Goddamn Brazilians are dumb, also, how are Newcastle and Chelsea doing? Is the oil money working out for them?

And why was madrid able to buy ronaldo, the most expensive player of the time? Because of merit.

Why does Brazil have a team filled with vinis and rodrigos? Because they're a country with 220M people. Where is the merit? What did brazil NT do to have these players?

Messi not playing the premiere is a huge thing in my book. Dude had a system built for him in barcelone and then pnce he left we never saw him excel again at any club. Not to mention he would have way worse career stats if he went there.

Same for mbappenis, he doesn't want the challenge, he wants to statpad.

yeah i'm sure Messi stats while playing for City would have been terrible.

Independent of club, Its a very physical league and theres no laliga referees there, the pace is also higher than laliga. Also, messi would've needed at least one year to get used to it and pray his team doesn't shit the bed like Chelsea or united nowadays.

messi was only linked go city there, and if people like david Silva and aguero could play in la liga so could Messi.

Im sure he could, but he would probably not immediately hit those Barcelona numbers so it would affect his career stats. Kinda like we saw once he went to PSG
