Why is he allowed in the Olympics?

There's not age limit and only his Club (PSG/Real) can allow or deny it

Bro he is weirdly excited about this pointless medal. I am 100% certain france will make him the flag bearer at the opening ceremony or he’ll riot

Olympic football is U23 but with three exceptions that may be older for the men. So Mbappe is older than 23 years, but may still play as one of the three exceptions.
There is no age restriction for the women. Blame FIFA that wants to protect the FIFA World Cup.

it's funny that the strongest team he faced in the span of 9 months was Xavi's Barcelona. Can't wait for Madrid/Bayern to rape his ass in the final

I think he'll win it this year tbh, I don't see who compares to him

Bellingham is good but I don't think he's better than Mbappe yet and I don't think anyone thinks he is. Maybe if Real get to the CL final and Bellingham gets a goal it'll tip the balance but I don't see it otherwise.

Who would you say is better than Mbappe right now?

for the position he plays and the work he does across the field Bellingham is at least equal to Mbappe if not better. he is the reason Real Madrid ran away with the league so early, him overperforming and scoring goals game after game was crucial. Mbappe against Barca was pretty underwhelming for his standard, first game bad, second game Dembele totally outshined him.

I'd agree Mbappe was shit in the Barca games, but they're just 2 games.
How do the stats compare? Not that they mean much but often in these things it's what people turn to. I would assume Mbappe has more goals, maybe less assists though.
Both teams will win the league, one might win the CL, but I'd just put Mbappe as a player over Bellingham right now. Jude wasn't great in the City games iirc, though granted the second leg Madrid just defended

just listing direct goals and assists without analyzing game by game in depth and many chances and pre-assists he created, here's some of the important ones in the league: goal and assist in the two wins against Bilbao, two goals and assist turning the game against Almeria away around, 81' match winner against Celta away, 90' match winner against Getafe, two against Osasuna, only goal against Betis away, goal and assist in another comeback against Almeria at home, unfairly disallowed stoppage time match winner against Valencia and a completely ridiculousl red card after that...

against title contenders - 3 goals and an assist against Girona in two wins, beat Barca away with two goals in the 2nd half after trailing 0:1 at HT, scored the decider and basically the title winner in the 3:2 Clasico at home.

in the CL he practically won the group against Napoli alone (2 goals and 2 assists), made a counter-attack run across the whole pitch and assisted Vini for the only goal against Leipzig. against City he wasn't at his best but still pre-assisted the goal with a perfect touch and ball control passing to Vini on the side.

of course Mbappe's raw numbers are better because he's a real forward, but this is fricking insane attacking impact for a midfielder considering how important were his goals, especially in a debut season where he was forced to perform from the get go. not only did Benzema leave, but Vinicius was injured for quite some time during the autumn part of the season, and Rodrygo and especially Joselu were pretty fricking bad. League and CL, Mbappe scored 34 and assisted 7, Bellingham scored 21 and assisted 8.

all in all, the CL result will push one of them (or even Kane) in the lead, but the BdO race will probably be decided at the EURO.

I think you're probably right then, the numbers are kinda closer than I thought even if Mbappe is ahead by a fair bit.
CL/Euro will be the clincher I suppose. One of them could even win both
