Can we FINALLY admit Baseball has objectively bad gameplay?

>No one ever scores
You fall asleep by the time they do.
>No tangible difference between player skill
A batting average of .23 compared to .31 is supposedly a vast difference, but you wouldn't be able to tell unless you follow a particular player for months
>Everyone's too slow
They simply aren't fast enough to get to bases, and it's pathetic.
>Only one way to score
Just boring. It's not impressive, and there's no strategy for point scoring. Just hit the ball and don't get it caught.
>Innings where no one scores might as well not exist
Congrats. You just wasted both of your time. Nothing gained, nothing lost.
>No major contact
Why even call it a sport?
>It's ALL statistics at the end of the day
So there's no significant skill involved to win. The Winner only "wins" purely through math and RNG. Not because they were the better team.

Compare this to American Kinoball
>25-35 average points per game
A solid amount where at least one team scores every quarter. Falling asleep means missing several touchdowns.
>Tangible skill differences
If a player sucks, it becomes apparent within minutes.
>Everyone's quick
Even the 350-pound Linebacker can outrun you.
>Several ways to score.
It leaves everyone wondering if a team will play it safe for a three-pointer or risk a seven-pointer
>Even if no one scores, they can punt
Ball placement and clock running still fundamentally matter, even if a team doesn't score. Every play matters.
>Contact is heavily required
Someone WILL get hurt.
> The game is decided through both internal and external factors
Blaming RNG for a loss is purely cope.

The real problem with boreball nowadays is launch angle and velocity…you can have a massive hole in your swing, but if you hit .220 and generate tons of power you’re now a great hitter. Call me a clueless boomer, idgaf…I love seeing guys hitting at or above .300

Get rid of homeruns and treat balls that fall outside the boundaries of the field as doubles or triples or if you’re feeling particularly sadistic, foul balls. That way, you still want to hit hard to have more time to round the bases but you now need to do it with skill and placement instead of mindless unga bunga power like you do now.

Americans will never do this because they prefer the mindless spectacle of hitting a ball high and hard over maintaining the integrity of the sport.

Baseball also has a very low level of entry, any given country can invest in it and suddenly have decent players in a year or two.

It's not exactly hard. Just hit the ball with a stick.

It's hard enough that failing 7/10 times is still good enough to be an All Star. You can't really appreciate how fast a 95+ MPH pitch is until you watch a game very close to the plate. Keep in mind velocity is only one of the factors the batter must track and at best he is just making an educated guess what the pitcher will do.
        >location, inside vs outside or high vs low completely changes your swing
        >movement, maybe the pitch is flat and doesn't move at all, maybe it breaks several feet as it crosses the plate and that break could be downwards or lateral, it can also break in such a way you think you'll get hit but you don't and it breaks over the plate instead
        >how the fielders are arranged so you can avoid them
You need insanely impressive hand-eye coordination, reflexes, muscle memory, discipline and knowledge of how pitching mechanics work to be a good MLB hitter

Just watch pesäpallo. It is a fast-paced variant of baseball where the tactics are at the level of American football.
The season starts today in Finland.

one plays 162 games and the other plays 17/once a week for the minority of the year. once society stopped moving like molasses the latter won. that's the only reason why. on its own game merit boreball is still more liked which is why movies, little league, beer league, banana ball, etc are a thing and just random football bombs every time it's tried

And YET baseball is the most Kino sport Americanos have to offer. And it's not even close. Willing to bet that Baseball has an average longer ball in play than Americanos football has. It's not even the best version of eggball sports.
