Do you guys feel any regrets about not being open to criticism that could have encouraged AEW to be better?

Do you guys feel any regrets about not being open to criticism that could have encouraged AEW to be better? If that had been the attitude from the start, we'd be in a better position. Openly enabling the things that were dogshit and championing a bunch of the shitters that had no business being on TV, all in the name of "supporting the team", and shunning anyone who dared to look at things with a critical eye is what ultimately tanked the company and tarnished the brand beyond repair. You made Tony and the talentless, dimeless portion of the roster believe that they could do no wrong, and now it's getting cancelled because of you. It's not your fault that the people making decisions are also clueless marks (and leeches that are just there to milk Tony for free money in the case of WWE washouts), but the writing was on the wall when attendance and viewership started going into a freefall. You had the world in your hands and momentum on your side, but kept lying about loving a bunch of objectively bad shit out of spite towards E-drones.

The sad part is that in the future, you will call this undeniably true recollection of events "WWE revisionist history" instead of taking accountability.

Aew was always going to suck due to the people tony involved from the start. That's how cornette predicted everything happening now from the beginning.

Cody figured it out soon after. Then got the frick to wwe.

And it's only going to continue getting worse. Because now tony has relationships with the 5 year old, stale as frick, acts that function as ratings poison and he isnt business minded enough to get them off tv. Jericho, the acclaimed, hook, orange, bucks, ftr, eddie, bryan...theyre all running the same fueds and storylines on repeat. Then theres the retirement tour that sting got for edge and christian...i look at these cards and wonder who the frick theyre for

It was the beginning for the end of ROH when their fans lost word of mouth credibility by pretending to like Rhett Titus.
AEW has been going though the same thing, but where never good to begin with and instead of pretending to like a bland skinny guy they pretend to like guys who can’t execute any moves.

This kills the hobby/franchise/sport. I've lived long enough to see it over and over.

I was on the fence with this concept, until I saw AEW fans actually pretending Jack Perry is insanely over and future world champion material. I get hating CM Punk, but you're literally shooting yourself in the foot for no fricking reason by praising this. This doesn't "own" Punk or WWE, it just makes AEW worse.

I mean if the criticism came from people who didn't fail in the business I think people in AEW would listen.

So then why do they listen to Bryan Alvarez’s praise then?

Instead they listened to people who've never been in the business at all and are now on the brink of failing in the business themselves. But this is the exact level of insight and awareness I'd expect from an anime reaction image poster.

I used to think that Tony would actually listen if they complained but now I know he is just a Paki version of Trump who is convincing his cult everything he does is perfect and wouldn't take any criticism to heart because he would just claim it to be bad faith drone bots. So unfortunately AEW is shit and will likely always be shit unless he is forced to sell it for some reason

      >they pushed the blacks to the fricking moon

I like the Elite. The Young Bucks are kind of whatever but tag shit is gay. Those who hate the elite shouldn’t be listened to however
