Big Bang Theory drew 200k lower this week than it did last week. I don't know what the reason was, but fat yanks did not want to sit in front of a TV yesterday.
Seriously though, this was an anomaly. In 3 years time, even top shows will be struggling to get 0.25 unless Nielsen changes their data collection methods. Right now, they only collect from one TV per household, you're missing out on a shit load of viewers from that alone (this is not Dynamite specific, it applies to all cable TV, including RAW & NXT)
But the show recovered massively during the Dax vs. Ospreay match and the post match NJPW stuff, and the other stuff with Tanahashi. I legit think the starting segment was so bad it made so many people change the channel and then the Wardlow/Lambert thing was even stupider

Because the graph takes the highest number from that fricking 15 minute segment and uses that as the metric for that block? So for the duration of Ospreay's match, the highest rating popped in those 15 minutes was 725k. Within the next fifteen minutes following that match, it jumped 857 at its highest. The Ospreay match lost 50k, and 125k tuned in after it. He sunk the ratings. Cope.

There are ads in most segments of all shows, and they paid for PiP for the main event. People just weren't interested. For reference, Cody got 240k extra viewers with an ad break (not PiP) because they built the shit out of it. Regardless of my feelings about Bucks or JB and Luchasaurus, they didn't build this to be a big thing or anything and the fact that it was a ladder match where both teams can do alot of shit, but still didn't draw, shows the problem is the build and structure of the show.
If the Hardy Boyz were there this would have done a million easily.

Sadly, no. You could have had John Cena on the show and it would have barely topped 850k, TV just isn't a popular format for people under 50. I'm 37 and I don't even own a TV, I don't need one and I'm certainly not paying for a cable subscription just to watch wrestling when I'm already subbed to FITE/NJPW World and Peawiener.
