Ah ok, I'll see what I can do then. Probably not today though.
Why are you projecting your pedophilia onto me? I haven't posted a single pedophilic thing in my entire time on Fhite, and there is absolutely zero evidence showing me as anything of the sort.
i just assume they are waiting for the jlingz shirts to be finished so they can all wear that
joking aside it is kinda weird when you look at the stand and you saw their fans wearing shirts with BOXT on it, seem to be their old sponsor
probably turned them down now they think they deserve more for being in pl

Let's see who still backs Arteta when the inevitable backslide happens and they don't have the squad to keep up in Europa and the Premier league. Not saying it will be a disaster but the road to the top is not smooth at all.
I got bullied by English bros because they want Kane to be fit for the WC....
No self-respecting Arsenal fan actually supports the England team. There are too many unpleasant opposition players for it to be palatable. I haven't really supported England at an international tournament since 1998.
Every YouTube “pundit” thrives on negativity and their club being shit. These guys were also Arteta Out and wanted the manager carousel to continue. Even when the fans that attended the games started to gain some hopium AFTV still focused on the negativity. Frick off with this revisionist history, nobody in the club takes these people serious
Yeah kinda. It gave the fan outrage a lot of exposure to the point where you had sky sport involved with the channel which made it massive. And when you have that kind of publicity its hard for the club to ignore or pretend the fan dissatisfaction doesn't exist. I would wager that AFTV contributed towards wenger being told to step down a year before his contract ended.
No. He's just having a tantrum and didn't want to shake hands. Conte was trying to mug off tuchel and got called out on his Bullshit. I would be pissed off too if my team conceded an equaliser with the last kick of the game but its no excuse for poor sportsmanship.
Their first goal was fine. There was a foul on Havertz at the other end of the pitch but it was so long ago it shouldn't matter.
The second one though Romero literally grabbed Cucurella's mop and yanked him to the floor and they got to take another corner leading straight to a goal.
>great preseason >immediate, team improving signings >young players bought in before only getting better
Could do with another player or two but if they can avoid injuries then Arse look like they are in with a shout.
>QUINTUPLE >Emirates Cup
Already in the bag. >FA Cup
Basically done. >Europa League
Realistically speaking, who can stop >us? >St. Totteringham's
Or whatever it's spelled. >UEFA Supercup
Done done done.
I have doubts surrounding Tielemans' consistency but none about his attitude and mentality. He's been a prodigy, has some age related records, a bit like Odegaard, but he's never been over arrogant, and seems rather smart. He's a big deal at his club but hasn't been a diva about the transfer situation. I'll be happy if we get him even though we need a winger more.
nah. but I will say that I rate him, despite his mid athelticism. I'll stand by these words, always rated nketiah unlike most arse posters and he's progressing rapidly.
if we sign yet another midfielder, it'll mean next season will be entirely devoted to strenghtening our attack. it's clever to give martinelli a chance, as a nailed on starter, but dangerous when you remember how injury prone he was earlier.
Yeah, but from what I've heard they're playing him as a wingback, almost left mid.
Can't see how that would improve his defending, especially in a farmer's league.
Maybe we can just move him forward and turn him into a winger Saka style?

Isn't that actually what Zincenko is meant to be good at? Wonder if we'll ever see Tierney and him play at the same time.

We've made the same mistake with Tavares that we made with Kolasinac. We've brought in someone who looks good as a wingback to play as a fullback.
Hey guys.
Just finished watching the Arsenal documentary.
Do you think it paints Arsenal in a good light. Its very hard to understand why Arteta has pre-match theatrics like rubbing your hands together to create balls of energy
It’s probably something recommended by sports psychologist, I’ve heard a few things about modern coaching for multiple professions and they occasionally do things like this, small, silly and quick group activities that can help players bond, even if it’s to joke about said activity.
>arteta
hate how they try to show as him being ultimate good >auba
try to show his nice side, but also his unprofessional side >edu
same as arteta >american billionaire son
try to show him off as good guy supporting arteta and edu and not only financially but also emotionally >ramsdale

>but a move may only be made if Arsenal can make room in their squad by moving on Xhaka.
this make no sense, if we want to keep both then we can keep both. not like there isn't enough games to play
so so dumb. will actually cry if this happens. tielemens is a massive downgrade on xhaka and just not good enough in general. why is our recruitment always so fricking shit
Yeah, Partey isn't anywhere near good enough to keep if that rape stuff gets traction.
It's insanity
Frick up you twitter mob mentality homosexuals, if he's done something illegal he'll get punished. Stop acting like its a forgone conclusion when it's just been a twitter thread from some dumb b***h. Sick of this mentality that because someone said something on twitter its closed and shut. Actual virtue signalling. #BELIEVEWOMEN yeah right mate.
If he's being investigated by the police over multiple rape allegations it's fair to say there's a problem with the way he's treating women in private. This sort of thing is difficult to try when there are 1 or 2 women speaking out (over 98% of rape allegations don't result in charges) but if he keeps acting this way then we could be looking at a Mendy situation. The fact that he did the same shit to another woman this summer after being investigated by the police over his behaviour last year is a worrying sign. Mendy did something similar (allegedly raped while he was out on bail). He needs to nip this in the bud and sort himself out otherwise the CPS are going to go down a "disturbing pattern of behaviour" route and use multiple incidents that probably wouldn't result in charges individually against him.
From a club perspective, we don't know enough about how involved they are in things. How well briefed are they on the investigation against him? What kind of safeguarding procedures have they put in place to ensure he's not getting into trouble again? It's easy enough calling on the club to virtue signal over this but from their perspective he's a £100m+ asset that would need to be expensively replaced.
so so dumb. will actually cry if this happens. tielemens is a massive downgrade on xhaka and just not good enough in general. why is our recruitment always so fricking shit

We're in massive trouble if martinelli gets injured. Need a new winger before the window closes. I don't think Pino is that guy.
so so dumb. will actually cry if this happens. tielemens is a massive downgrade on xhaka and just not good enough in general. why is our recruitment always so fricking shit
Xhaka seems way more attack minded this season but he can't turn and dribble out of tight spaces. Tielemena is an upgrade but I don't trust that guy to track back or be a physical presence on the pitch
>We're in massive trouble if martinelli gets injured. Need a new winger before the window closes. I don't think Pino is that guy.
ESR is more than good enough, Pino plays on the right and will give Saka some competition.
ESR is shite lol. people only rate him because he fluked 10 goals last season on the back of 4 xG. if he scored as many goals as his xG suggested everyone would be wishing we sold him to Villa for 40m last summer (which we should have done)
Please stop rating players just because they came through our academy.
>but I don't trust that guy to track back or be a physical presence on the pitch
we have enough flair players
we need some physical players to balance everything out
I like him because he's not thirsty for goals. He does well just being there for a pass and connecting the front 3 up. He plays an under appreciated role in this team when we're in possession.
sometimes i wish he thirst for goals though
some of the chances we missed because he passed instead of just shoot, man
hope he wise up more and know it is ok to shoot, doesn't mean you are a greedy monkey that want all the limelight. the team seem to be in good harmony right now instead of some super star trying to hog all attention, it's ok to score
ESR not shit but he's not a winger. He's got good movement on and off the ball and can bag a goal. He's good back up in attacking midfield. Pino should be brought in as cover for martinelli. All >our wingers are interchangeable if need be so cover isn't an issue. Martinelli ended the game playing on the right wing against Leicester.
>he doesn't rate Xhaka
OK OK I lied last time, I also thought Xhaka was a bit shite for the Arse even though he's one of the goats of the national team. But you'd be an idiot not to see how well he's been playing now, he absolutely deserves his spot.
Still hope a CM and winger can be signed, especially ones that can give Odegaard and Saka some competition.
You lot have seen The Sopranos, right? On paper Junior was the boss but the real boss was actually Tony. The same thing is happening here, Xhaka is the real captain, not Odegaard.

Barcelona have asked around €30m fee for Pierre Aubameyang during the weekend, Chelsea wanted to spend way less than this. Talks continue, as Marcos Alonso is still part of the conversations. #FCB
Tuchel, pushing for Aubameyang as priority… but Xavi insists to keep him.
It got reported here. Most of us think SA is a shithole due to blacks because we have a lot of white immigrants that have come here that have nothing good to say about that country anymore.
Anyone remember those arsenal "movies" made by a fan which covered the 2002 and 2004 seasons? I remember it having the rocky theme music which was cool.
They got taken down from YouTube years ago but was always available to find on other sites like dailymotion. Seems to have gone from there as well now though. I remember one of the videos being something like "Arsenal FC - The Movie Part II (they did it again)". The invincibles movie was part IV. Shame because they were fun to watch.
Yeah that rings a bell. Can't remember who made them though.

Their fanbase leaves them almost too big to fall as far, Leeds were financially fricked after missing European football money but Manure have massive guaranteed income.meven if they did get relegated and had to sell off or release their shitters they could rely on their academy for recruits and still have the means to sign hungry, decent prospects.
People underestimate Palace. They love to play against big teams cos it suits them. Very physical, can play a deep block and have quick forwards on the counter. No wonder their record against big clubs is very impressive. Last week win at their home for us was very important
>people actually want Vieira to manage Arsenal
Sure, you can say he's overachieving with Palace, especially against bigger teams like Liverpool. But just look at this game. They got worse after going up a man. How?
Because their style of play is counter-attacking and relies on the other team to be stronger and attack a lot. They were a bit at sea once Liverpool went a man down because yes, they're a man down, but it's also still Liverpool at Anfield. Hard to get the balance right and execute a different gameplan in that case.
You know, as useless and a detriment Pepe is, I am so fricking glad we didn't get Zaha. SO fricking glad. Jesus fricking Christ. What a god awful player.

Wolves hope to complete every detail of the deal this week - would be a club record fee.
kek just saw that red card from the mong of liverpool, what a stupid thing to do
if manure manage to draw with them at home next week it gonna be amazing
The season has so long journey, it's too early for now. Remember we only had 5-6 matches in the previous season to come but we was slipped againts Tottenham
Edu really should scoop in for Matheus Cunha, I'm very sure he'd rather play for Arsenal than United. He is in a very bad place now, but he has good potential.
also do a cheeky one on gérson you c**t
Mancini was his step-father's surname if memory serves. I guess it wasn't really an era in which you could say "my wife's son" without being ridiculed.
He seems like the perfect 3rd cover if that makes sense.
As in we have the first team wingers and fullbacks, they each have someone who covers them directly and then Tavares is the option in reserve who can cover either wing and either fullback position if both primary and secondary options are gone.
Not sure what player you've been watching. He doesn't have the technical level to play as an out-and-out winger and doesn't come close to Saka in that regard. His athleticism is his key strength and playing as a wing-back allows him to take advantage of that fully. It means he doesn't have to worry so much about his positioning defensively while freeing him up as a wide runner to burst past the opposition and create numerical superiorities in attack. If you played him as a winger in the Premier League he'd look a lot like Adama Traore.
Problem is the current marseille manager only plays 3 atb with nuno as lwb a formation arteta hasn't used since the fa cup run we won. So I'm not exactly sure if nuno will have a spot in this team as lb since he can't defend for shit.
Should Arsenal sell Gabriel Jesus for 5 million Euros and just play Balogun up front from now on? No? B-but he scored two goals in France!! He must be elite now!! Idiot.
I am the most optimistic I've been in years. I don't think we will challenge for the title, but I honestly think we'll get top 4 comfortably. The style of football Arsenal and City are playing is the most reliable way of securing points. Liverpool will be above us by virtue of superior players, but I have us favourites for 3rd.
I hope so, even beating them at home and losing away is fine honestly. Despite their start, I do think they'll still be top 2.
I'm sure the Liverpool form is a temporary thing, they also have a small injury crisis going on and now Darwin out too.
Competing directly with Chelsea/Tottenham for 3rd and 4th. I feel like it's all down to which squads stay fit. If Spurs lose Kane/Son for a long period they are doomed. If Chelsea don't sort out a proper striker they might not have the goalscoring ability to beat certain teams.
We also have the bonus of having Europa to qualify through but we really shouldn't need to rely on that fallback.
Richarlison is the best backup they've had in years, but I still agree with you on Spurs and Chelsea. I hope Europa will be used to keep players fresh. Even last year, the difference between Lokonga and Tavares at the beginning of the year and mid-season was massive. Ideally, we can keep Smith Rowe and Tierney fit without relying too much on them too. Regardless of both of them being fortunate or sorting out a forward, I really believe we can get top 4. Would love a midfielder and winger though
>Would love a midfielder and winger though
Just a midfielder for me. Unless we can trade/sell Pépé I don't see the point in getting another winger.

Well ideally we'd be looking at someone who can cover both the Partey/Xhaka role in our current system but so few players of that type exist. Insane how United have the perfect backup DM he's good enough to start for them even, yet let him rot on the bench and may even sell him
Edu should unironically go for him. I doubt he will though, I think Elneny is considered Partey's backup
Also Xhaka and Partey play different roles now. Lokonga was meant to be a backup for Partey but is better in the Xhaka role.

elneny's done nothing wrong, just like ESR, I don't think they get a fair shot because Arteta doesn't rate them for whatever reason
they're not top class but they're good enough to ride the bench of any Champion's League club no doubt in my mind. I think I do recall elneny is on some insane wages though which is fricking stupid if true

I like Elneny, he's fine as a backup. I guess it's just that Garner is young and English which makes him better. But also crucially, should Partey end up transferring to Prison FC, the backup will become a starter and Elneny isn't good enough for that role, he lacks the passing range.

I'm loving this season so far. Is it just me or has the leniency on challenges and the punishment/rushing of timewasters really imrpoved games overall?
I also don't know if it's directly related because of the increasing heat of games or just a coincidence but seeing Tuchel/Conte fighting, Romero pulling Cucurella to the floor by his mop and Darwin straight up headbutting Andersen just makes it seem like a lot more games are reaching boiling point.
Can't wait for the NLD.
The amount of excuse people made for ramshit is ridiculous. >muh distribution
His nice pass wouldn't necessarily result in a goal for us but him not making a save he should have saved would certainly result in a goal for the opposition. Ederson is the best in the world in distribution but allison would still start over him for brazil because he is much better at the actual goalkeeping stuff.

Ramsdale's solid in goal, it's the defense that needs to pull their weight. The defense is elite, Rambo can only do what he can, give him confidence and time.
Saliba is bang average, Zinchenko can't defend, Ramsdale is shit, and you all know this deep down. Wait till Arsenal go to Anfield for their annual thrashing and see if you still think Arsenal are top 4 quality.

>Wait till Arsenal go to Anfield for their annual thrashing and see if you still think Arsenal are top 4 quality.
We don't go to Anfield until April. We'll have a pretty good idea about the quality of the squad one way or another by then.
It's better to sell Partey to Liverpool, maybe with around 70M.
I'm still worrying about what's gonna happen to him because of that rape issue.
Liverpool is gonna panic buy him since they are lacking MF now.
I’m getting increasingly more tired Gabriel’s errant passing from the back and decision making. Even though he’s not as all tall I’d like to see Tierney as LCB
More like: >LB: Xshit >LCB: Salibad >RCB: Balding >RB: Pisschenko
Big Gab sold off for 12 million a week before he scores the winner in WC final and both Tearknee and Injuryasu in the infirmary, INNIT.
would Vardy add some extra pepper to the squad, wouldn't spend more than 10Ms but if we're in a title fight he could bag some behind Jesus, we've been interested in him for years and I don't buy age being a factor on a guy who's powered by red bulls and coke
We don't play counter attacking football, so we wouldn't get the best out of Vardy. Same reason why it would be foolish to sign Andy Carroll because we don't spam crosses into the box. The idea that we should also sign a completely different striker to give us something different is silly too, strikers don't score unless the entire team plays to their strengths.
That’s why I would try to push it this window, if he has a good WC, the January window will have bigger clubs sniffing around. Although, if he’s concerned about prepping for the WC, he may not want to come to Arsenal now. I do really like his profile however and the fit for this team
>Mikel Arteta after the defeat at Newcastle in the Arsenal dressing room ‘Shut your mouth and eat it, that was fricking embarrassing, unacceptable. I’ll take all the shit…again.’
Assuming we sign the high priority CM that we want, would you guys be okay with signing Pulisic as depth for LW? He's not as good as Martinelli in the off-ball pressing phase, but he's definitely a bit more lethal at incisive dribbling and playing 1-2's with the striker. Would have great interplay with Jesus and Zinchenko.
If we have the money and finish our CM signing, I would like Poolisic as LW depth. Would bring us to CL-quality depth. And if Saka gets injured he'd be able to play an RW role easily too
where is all this pulisic talk coming from?
i swear i saw another headline saying newscastle wanting to buy him as well, is chelsea unloading him or something?
Yeah definitely looks like Chelsea PR has recently "leaked" these rumors to be used as headlines to attract more bidders. He's obviously a good player and at his very best he embarassed Liverpool (TAA and Matip's side) in a game a few seasons ago. He's a very tricky, determined winger. I think he's technically more elite than Martinelli but not as good at pressing as Martinelli.
But the thing about Poolisic is that he is extremely dogged and has great balance, so one of those players who just doesn't give up when chasing a 50/50 or being double teamed by two defenders, his twink body will hold them off.
So he can be coached to press and he has the doggedness and balance to become a good presser. I remember when I was playing FM18 I saw Pulisic's "Determination" attribute at like 18 or something and I thought 'yeah that sounds completely right'
You are describing Martinelli bro. Made fun of TAA once and is strong and can take a tackle while keeping the ball.
I do not agree that Pulisic is better technically compared to Martinelli. The American uses changes in direction as his dribbling style compared to Martinelli who uses strength and small body feints. Maybe it makes Pulisic look better technically because of that. Didn't some player say that Martinelli was the most technically gifted player at the club like last season?
Besides, Pulisic is always injured. I would not want him in the squad. He feels like a Man Utd signing.

Do we really have a history of bottling it when it matters? Sure we lost to Birmingham in the final and we lost out on top 4 last season. But more times have we clawed our way back to get into top 4 or squeezed out that FA cup win (if we talk recent history).

I wouldn't even say we bottled it last season. It was a young squad with no depth that ran out of steam. We were relying on the likes of Cedric, Elneny, Tavares, Nketiah in the final stretch.

>down 2 early >Santi fk >Kosc killing himself to equalize >that Ramsey pashun to win it >ending a trophy drought
It's in the league that they have a history of bottling it. Some of those top 4 finishes were barely made after an early title push.
You people need to get your head checked if you think Tavarez is better than Tierney, or just have the consistency longer than the memory of a goldfish. Tierney being Zinchenko's back up is already ridiculous, shut up about Tavarez.
Tavares just needs more time to work on his defense game and he'll come good, zinchenko will be playing the xhaka role eventually, runarsson though can frick off.
>Villa’s wishlist list to replace Diego Carlos is also claimed to include Arsenal centre-back Rob Holding
Suspected for a while Villa would want Holding after they got Chambers.
Wouldn't have minded selling Rob Holding for a decent fee, but 3 CBs is not enough squad depth, especially for a team that is playing European football. It's probably too late to look for a replacement in this window, unless the club can find someone and get the deal done within 14 days. Maybe sell him in January if we can identify a good left-footed CB that will give Gabriel more competition.
Mikel is a pretty classless guy, naive, too. Seems to think the word 'frick' will psychically shock the players into action and uses it like it's getting banned tomorrow. He would also never pat himself on the back in front of the players for 'defending' them in pressers. That behavior tells you he suffers from self pity to a degree.

True if it wasn't for the refs they should have lost. They had no control of the game at all, not even in spells. Completely out played by a notably weaker Chelsea side compared to last season even though spurs have strengthened, at least on paper. Tuchel nailed the tactics. The same tuchel that lost 4-2 to a weaker arsenal squad at the end of last season and got demolished 4-0 a week before the league started.

Saying what? Only morons like yourself are coping by trying to insinuate "Tottenham are finished" based on one game they rode their luck a bit. If anything it's impressive they were able to grind out a result against waves of pressure; something your shit team could've used against Newcastle towards the end of last season.
By the way, none of the key refereeing decisions were wrong. The tackle on Havertz was clean, the first goal was only arguably off-side against Richarlison but not clear cut, and the hair pulling was a foul, but VAR does not award free kicks for fouls. Learn the rules.
Tottenham are still clearly ahead of Arsenal right now. Jesus looks like a very good signing, but you still have an average midfield and defence.

>grind out a result
Topspur didn't grind out anything you got completely obliterated the entire game but was saved by the ref on multiple occasions including the equalising goal which literally everyone in the entire footballing world agrees was daylight robbery. As a consequence the guy on VAR is being taken off matches this weekend. Even the FA are silently admitting the officiating was extremely biased.

You mean just like Arsenal did last season... against NEWCASTLE?
With everything on the line and everything to play for, you got dominated by Newcastle, a mid-table team with nothing to play for. Lost 2-0 and it should've been 5-0.
I'd say that's far more embarrassing than getting Tottenham getting a draw at Stamford Bridge mate. >but was saved by the ref on multiple occasions including the equalising goal
t. moron. Read the rules. I already explained why you're wrong in the second paragraph here:
There are 3-4 fouls every single corner, it's impossible for the referee to see them all. VAR does not award regular fouls. You are extremely dumb for not understanding this.

Anonymous
He's right though. You were literally saved by the ref missing the hairpull. "read the rules" only negatively effects your argument. You're right about VAR not being able to pull it back, but by the rules of the game there should have been a free kick for Chelsea for the hairpull and therefore no corner, therefore no goal. Hence - Saved by the ref.
Anonymous
>He's right though. You were literally saved by the ref missing the hairpull.
and you're still missing the point like a moron.
Referees miss corner fouls all the time. It is not reasonable to expect a referee to see literally every single thing that goes on in a corner because there's shoving, pulling and blocking everywhere in the box. Low-IQs talk about this particular incident like it's some kind of travesty, but fouls are committed and missed by the referee every single corner.
>but by the rules of the game there should have been a free kick for Chelsea for the hairpull and therefore no corner
There are likely dozens of examples of Arsenal getting points on the back of the referee missing Arsenal players committing fouls.
But those don't count i guess because you're biased and dumb.

>It is not reasonable to expect a referee to see literally every single thing that goes on in a corner
But it is more than reasonable to expect a referee to see someone being hauled to the floor by their hair when he's looking DIRECTLY at it.
Watch the fricking replay. He's standing where Cucu/Romero are literally in between him and the ball.

There's literally video footage of him looking directly at the incident and ignoring it. That's why people are mad. He purposely decides to do nothing. You can keep damage controlling but the facts prove otherwise.
>There are likely dozens of examples of Arsenal getting points on the back of the referee missing Arsenal players committing fouls.
Prove it. According to official VAR statistics as of last season arsenal have had the most decisions go against them in Europe since VAR was introduced.
>But it is more than reasonable to expect a referee to see someone being hauled to the floor by their hair when he's looking DIRECTLY at it.
No, moron. You don't know where his eyes were focused, you're just judging by what the TV shows you. There are always 5-8 different things going on during a corner.

Anonymous
>uhh muh argument relies on top level referee unable to see someone being hauled to the ground >THAT'S THE STANDARD
You know you're fricked when you are basically saying that you only got away with it because you think referees shouldn't be able to see a blatant foul taking place directly in front of them.
Sorry bud, that's not how it works. You got lucky.

>he wasn't looking at it I swear! >there were other fouls he was watching!
I know you're a complete moron, but yes, there are several things within his line of vision there, and you cannot conclusively say his eyes were focused specifically on Cucurella and Romero.
Arsenal fans like yourself have always been notorious for having low IQs, so it doesn't really come as a surprise you're too stupid to grasp this.

>you cannot conclusively say his eyes were focused specifically on Cucurella and Romero.
Literally irrelevant. If you think a referee in the biggest league in the world is literally incaapable of noticing more than 1 (ONE!)[SINGULAR] event you are fricking braindead.
Even if he's focusing on the ball his peripheral vision can see what's going on.
Once again, your argument relies on a referee being so braindead he literally cannot see something going down right in front of him. Which is obviously a rare occurence. Enjoy getting more competent refs and getting shit on.

>Literally irrelevant
Thank you for further illustrating your stupidity, idiot 🙂 >If you think a referee in the biggest league in the world is literally incaapable of noticing more than 1 (ONE!)[SINGULAR] event you are fricking braindead.
Happens all the time in every top league in the world and the Champions League. Fouls get missed, incorrect decisions are made. You're acting like this particular instance is some kind of travesty, but that just further illustrates you're extremely insecure and irritated with a big chip on your shoulder.
Tottenham have been finishing above Arsenal for a while now. Even during their shit years, Tottenham are still finishing above Arsenal. It's clearly taking a toll on your mental stability, which is why you need to simp for Chelsea and cry with them about the refereeing.
Such an embarrassing little idiot lol.

>You're acting like this particular instance is some kind of travesty
Because it is. You keep claiming this is a regular occurence but it's obvious you're talking out your ass.
You're deliberately conflating fouls in the box being missed with a player being hairgrabbed to the ground.
There are literally thousands of examples of the first and yes they do get missed, but I guarantee you cannot find a single instance of the second where it is missed, no foul is given and it leads to a goal. This particular instance IS a travesty of refereeing and it's why there's so much attention on it.
Checkmate homosexual.

Nah, it isn't. You're just a desperate little chimpanzee, desperately looking for anything to rationalize the delusion that Arsenal can eclipse Tottenham this year.
You're a worthless moron, you've not no real case. Suck it 😉

>no foul is given and it leads to a goal
Also idiot, if you read the rules, if Tottenham scored from that corner, it would've been overturned by VAR.
Tottenham didn't score from that corner, they scored from the next one. Corners have a 5% chance of being converted into a goal. Embarrassing low-IQ idiots like yourself are trying to claim the referees explicitly engineered a Tottenham win by missing a set-piece foul, and allowing them to have one more chance to score from a 5%er.
You are so dumb it's funny.

Can't be bothered digging up the replays of all your boring games and don't even know where I'd find them. Either way, your team obviously scored some goals from set pieces, and if you analyse every set piece, there's a good chance you'll find at least one foul from your team.
Keep seething like the buttangry moron you are though, it just further highlights your insecurities. Tottenham are still clearly the better team than Arsenal, and will start favorites in the NLD.

So you have no proof and are making shit up. Got it. Thanks for admitting you have no arguments. And commiting malicious fouls isn't the same as a bit of pushing and shoving. Keep pretending you have room temperature IQ though. Actually you probably do. So much for being the better team, how's it feel being lower in the league table this season to an inferior team according to you? And you can't even keep back tracking to last season since your whole argument will be about how league position is everything. 2nd place 🙂

Stay mad I guess.
>it's impossible for the referee to see them all. VAR does not award regular fouls.
The referee looks directly at it and doesn't do anything. And if the VAR operator did his job romero was at risk of being sent off. There were multiple opportunities for the officials to deal with what happened but multiple times in a row they decided to do nothing. And everyone knows next week an identical situation will happen where a player will end up getting sent of or a goal disallowed. It happens every single time without fail. Every time.

Who said anything about competing for the league, idiot?
>can't even beat a weak Chelsea side who got smoked 4-0 by arsenal a couple weeks before
You're citing friendlies now? Yikes.
Man United did really well in their friendlies and belted Liverpool 4-0. How are they tracking now?
>The referee looks directly at it and doesn't do anything
You are so stupid it's funny.
>And if the VAR operator did his job romero was at risk of being sent off.
Hey idiot, the reason VAR stopped play to review it is precisely to decide whether or not it was a red card offense. They decided it wasn't. If you read the rules, you'd know hair pulling is not defined as a red cardable offense. Alas, you're really dumb. This is also why Romero isn't being suspended.

Oh, do explain.
It was basically the same as their best team last season, except Koulibaly instead of Christensen, Sterling instead of Lukaku and Cucurella instead of Alonso.
And you're trying to laughably claim it was better last season. Just lol.

Cucurella is clearly one of the best defensive fullbacks in the world right now, and is CLEARLY better than Alonso.

Because of the outrage at the refereeing that game I'd actually say Spurs might be under more scrutiny if anything.
James playing so tight on Son was a very smart move. Followed him so hard the entire game.

Hopefully with saliba on one end and jesus at the other those losses turn into at least draws. Last season we had more wins than Chelsea who finished 2 positions above but had over double the losses with only 3 draws the entire season.
Don’t get carried away. Top 4 is still the goal. So don’t panic if results aren’t consistent. There will be dropped points to teams lower in the table. But that’s just the nature of being a team chasing top 4.
"Spoke to Edu a few wks ago, they do not want Fabio Vieria to get any bigger. They like the idea of having this tricky little player & don't want him to bulk up atm. Maybe that is because he is a different option to Xhaka in that same position" (@sr_collings@thearsenalbeat)
Bulking up the upper body doesn't actually help players like that. What they gain in strength they lose in acceleration and pace. This is what happened to Jack Wilshere - he bulked up while he was out injured only to lose that burst of pace that made him such a good player in the first place.
The ideal physique for that kind of player is light in the upper body and powerful in the lower body.

No? United fans have le reaction people like Goldbridge.

>Arse fans voice
it's some twitter wank mate

Draw is a perfect result
I hate Spurs and Conte more
True, I don't mind Chelsea winning tbh. But a draw is still a perfect result.
Chelsea will inevitably fall off in the 2nd half of the season
A draw is not the best result, because Arsenal can finish above Spurs but not Chelsea. The best result is Spurs lose.
Don't be so confident in Chelsea. They have squad issues unless they bring a quality striker and centre-back in.

Pretty much.
I mean, the hair pull alone should have been a red but heaven help if the gays get a card for that lmao.
Their first goal was fine. There was a foul on Havertz at the other end of the pitch but it was so long ago it shouldn't matter.
The second one though Romero literally grabbed Cucurella's mop and yanked him to the floor and they got to take another corner leading straight to a goal.

I'll be happy if we get him even though we need a winger more.
has incredible experience for someone of his age as well, already a veteran.
to put it in perspective, Van de Meek is the same age.
Is he confirmed yet
nah. but I will say that I rate him, despite his mid athelticism.

The Manure supporters are working harder then the team
Any chances this being played for team welcome next time Manure play?
Doubtful
Nuno Tavares just passed the ball to his teammate Alexis Sanchez. Ligue 1 is wild
What a world.
He also scored. 2 in 2 both for him and Balogun.
Good for Balogun but Tavares can stay there till he learns to defend properly. That was his major malfunction, was it not?
Yeah, but from what I've heard they're playing him as a wingback, almost left mid.
Can't see how that would improve his defending, especially in a farmer's league.
Maybe we can just move him forward and turn him into a winger Saka style?
Isn't that actually what Zincenko is meant to be good at? Wonder if we'll ever see Tierney and him play at the same time.
Zinchenko is better centrally. Tavares is way more direct and physical.
I could even see Tierney LB, Zinchenko LCM and Tavares LW, now that would be pretty funny.
That'd be hilarious
We've made the same mistake with Tavares that we made with Kolasinac. We've brought in someone who looks good as a wingback to play as a fullback.
Ya boy nuno scored again in the first half btw, current score 1-1.

Hav sex
Your chip on your shoulder is showing big time bud.
In Jesus We Trust
If that chance is any easier he misses the target.
What about the deflected trajectory?
Xhaka is literally x10 the player Tielemens is
thanks guys your support means so much to me, btw jesus keeps talking about his “Joga Bonito” and “Hexa” while whispering stuff in latin i don’t know what he is talking about but i love his skills. See u soon at the emirates
Imagine if Xhaka shitposted here
Not too sure he could form a proper english sentence.
AAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHA
>odefraud
We're in massive trouble if martinelli gets injured. Need a new winger before the window closes. I don't think Pino is that guy.
Please stop rating players just because they came through our academy.
we should bring Pato the brazilian
>but I don't trust that guy to track back or be a physical presence on the pitch
we have enough flair players
we need some physical players to balance everything out
I like him because he's not thirsty for goals. He does well just being there for a pass and connecting the front 3 up. He plays an under appreciated role in this team when we're in possession.
The Norwegian Elneny.
sometimes i wish he thirst for goals though
some of the chances we missed because he passed instead of just shoot, man
hope he wise up more and know it is ok to shoot, doesn't mean you are a greedy monkey that want all the limelight. the team seem to be in good harmony right now instead of some super star trying to hog all attention, it's ok to score
True he's sometimes too generous.
Xhaka is far better than odefraud. Please don't let him leave only for Tielemans
We are one Xhaka or Partey injury or legal problem away from the campaign unravelling. Literally no quality depth is CM or attack
Zinchenko and Vieira are both CM depth though?
Not all racists are spurs fans but all spurs fans are racist
Being israeli makes you inherently racist
Why can't Saka and Martinelli both have a good game? It seems when one of them is having a good game, the other goes missing.
Jesus and Martinelli Brazil danger duo vs top academy lads Nketiah and Saka.
Friendly rivalry to bring out the best in both
Competition for the starting eleven is great
You lot have seen The Sopranos, right? On paper Junior was the boss but the real boss was actually Tony. The same thing is happening here, Xhaka is the real captain, not Odegaard.
Thanks for the spoilers
After two games Arsenal is the highest rated English team on Whoscored (5th) and rated 1st in the Premier League.

Barcelona have asked around €30m fee for Pierre Aubameyang during the weekend, Chelsea wanted to spend way less than this. Talks continue, as Marcos Alonso is still part of the conversations. #FCB

Rumour has it Obama doesn't fancy joining Chelsea either.

It got reported here. Most of us think SA is a shithole due to blacks because we have a lot of white immigrants that have come here that have nothing good to say about that country anymore.
Didn't Australia turn down an immigration request from a massive group of Boers since they >aren't oppressed

What is the most soulful team in the league?
Arsenal
Cheeky James Garner bid?
Anyone remember those arsenal "movies" made by a fan which covered the 2002 and 2004 seasons? I remember it having the rocky theme music which was cool.
Yeah that rings a bell. Can't remember who made them though.
They got taken down from YouTube years ago but was always available to find on other sites like dailymotion. Seems to have gone from there as well now though. I remember one of the videos being something like "Arsenal FC - The Movie Part II (they did it again)". The invincibles movie was part IV. Shame because they were fun to watch.
are you guys talking about this?
Yeah this is a short version though. The original is like 20 mins
>Wimbledon and Sunderland in top 4
yeah i'm reading about leeds and how they used to be part of top clubs in the premier league for a few years and how they fell down hard
gives me hope it could happen to man utd
Their fanbase leaves them almost too big to fall as far, Leeds were financially fricked after missing European football money but Manure have massive guaranteed income.meven if they did get relegated and had to sell off or release their shitters they could rely on their academy for recruits and still have the means to sign hungry, decent prospects.
you're welcome, satellite club
cheeky bid for Zaha when
Based Viera unlocked Zaha and solved Klopp
People underestimate Palace. They love to play against big teams cos it suits them. Very physical, can play a deep block and have quick forwards on the counter. No wonder their record against big clubs is very impressive. Last week win at their home for us was very important

Pleasant surprise for it to come so early.

Don't get carried away
Lad, I told you; it's ON
>people actually want Vieira to manage Arsenal
Sure, you can say he's overachieving with Palace, especially against bigger teams like Liverpool. But just look at this game. They got worse after going up a man. How?
Because their style of play is counter-attacking and relies on the other team to be stronger and attack a lot. They were a bit at sea once Liverpool went a man down because yes, they're a man down, but it's also still Liverpool at Anfield. Hard to get the balance right and execute a different gameplan in that case.
Vieira will play for the draw and end up losing to these scouse rats.
You know, as useless and a detriment Pepe is, I am so fricking glad we didn't get Zaha. SO fricking glad. Jesus fricking Christ. What a god awful player.

I’m not too well versed in the meme teams in Europa league so just took one at random.
The season has so long journey, it's too early for now. Remember we only had 5-6 matches in the previous season to come but we was slipped againts Tottenham

Edu really should scoop in for Matheus Cunha, I'm very sure he'd rather play for Arsenal than United. He is in a very bad place now, but he has good potential.

goddamn how old was terry mancini there?

Mancini was his step-father's surname if memory serves. I guess it wasn't really an era in which you could say "my wife's son" without being ridiculed.
Where is the black guy?
ian wright?
probably learning to play football at that moment, you've seen the emotional video with his teacher
Is this a trick question? They're all black.
Remember that time Robbie Keane transferred to Liverpool from Spurs; scored only against >us - and was so shit otherwise they sent him back?
Should tavares be converted to left wing once he comes back? He seems more dangerous going forward than starboy.
Sell him for 15 million
Should Arsenal sell Gabriel Jesus for 5 million Euros and just play Balogun up front from now on? No? B-but he scored two goals in France!! He must be elite now!! Idiot.
Could bring him back as LB cover if he does well, which would allow Zinchenko to play/cover Xhaka's role. Or we could sell him for profit.
Have a strong feeling Anfield won't be automatic 3 points for them anymore, sick of being embarrassed by them
I hope so, even beating them at home and losing away is fine honestly. Despite their start, I do think they'll still be top 2.
Touilmens or someone else?
Tielemans if we can get him for 20m~. I don't know enough about Paqueta but for the pricetag it seems a bit risky. Tbh it could be a signing nobody sees coming.
Anyone you like for defensive midfielder buy options?
Well ideally we'd be looking at someone who can cover both the Partey/Xhaka role in our current system but so few players of that type exist. All the good ones have either been snapped up in last 2 years or would cost a fortune. Merino is someone I'd love to see play for us but he'd probably cost even more than Paqueta.
Right that's the thing - very specific role it's not like just buying a striker to tap in
That JamesGarner dude from Manure looks decent.
>I think I do recall elneny is on some insane wages though which is fricking stupid if true
Nah, he's on £50k/w, which is entirely reasonable for a backup player.
No more french league shitters, learn your lesson.
saliba gabriel
I'm talking attackers and midfielder
I'm sure the Liverpool form is a temporary thing, they also have a small injury crisis going on and now Darwin out too.
Competing directly with Chelsea/Tottenham for 3rd and 4th. I feel like it's all down to which squads stay fit. If Spurs lose Kane/Son for a long period they are doomed. If Chelsea don't sort out a proper striker they might not have the goalscoring ability to beat certain teams.
We also have the bonus of having Europa to qualify through but we really shouldn't need to rely on that fallback.
How much would Brighton ask for Caicedo?
50m probably.
Should know by now that this club has the most moronic fanbase.
>Mememouth next
>while everyone else dropped points
bound to lose now
Trust it
Ramsdale's solid in goal, it's the defense that needs to pull their weight. The defense is elite, Rambo can only do what he can, give him confidence and time.
The process I mean, we're not dropping points
All the links to pino have gone quiet. Starting to think edu was really just going for a holiday
Saliba is bang average, Zinchenko can't defend, Ramsdale is shit, and you all know this deep down. Wait till Arsenal go to Anfield for their annual thrashing and see if you still think Arsenal are top 4 quality.
Negativity merchants out buddy, get on the positivity train.
We're back now, look at the results and I will show you why you should believe.
Deep down I think this team will win at least 1 trophy this season so nah.
>Saliba is bang average, Zinchenko can't defend, Ramsdale is shit, and you all know this deep down.
Relax lad, just enjoy this time. Don't overthinking and have too much stress
>Wait till Arsenal go to Anfield for their annual thrashing and see if you still think Arsenal are top 4 quality.
We don't go to Anfield until April. We'll have a pretty good idea about the quality of the squad one way or another by then.
>wait till literally almost the end of the season
what did nigel mean by this
>Caicedo AND Tielemans
>with Xhaka, Partey, Elneny and Lokonga IN
Don't get it.
yea i don't see the point in having two more midfielders when that area is overloaded
partey should leave in my opinion. for obvious reasons
It's better to sell Partey to Liverpool, maybe with around 70M.
I'm still worrying about what's gonna happen to him because of that rape issue.
Liverpool is gonna panic buy him since they are lacking MF now.
bro they might be scouser but they are not that moronic

I’m getting increasingly more tired Gabriel’s errant passing from the back and decision making. Even though he’s not as all tall I’d like to see Tierney as LCB
>Tierney as LCB
Nah, I don't want him got bullied by any big striker. Tomiyasu will be okay if he's fit
The true back four for arsenal is:
LB: Tavares
LCB: Gabriel
RCB: Tomiyasu
RB: White
Zinchenko playing in midfield, and Tierney for some other club.
More like:
>LB: Xshit
>LCB: Salibad
>RCB: Balding
>RB: Pisschenko

would Vardy add some extra pepper to the squad, wouldn't spend more than 10Ms but if we're in a title fight he could bag some behind Jesus, we've been interested in him for years and I don't buy age being a factor on a guy who's powered by red bulls and coke
he's 35
I bet he's faster than Eddie at 35
I bet he's 35 years old
with one (1) PL winners medal
That's fantastic
We don't play counter attacking football, so we wouldn't get the best out of Vardy. Same reason why it would be foolish to sign Andy Carroll because we don't spam crosses into the box. The idea that we should also sign a completely different striker to give us something different is silly too, strikers don't score unless the entire team plays to their strengths.
>Vardy
Stop it. It was already embarrassing enough when Wenga tried.
Vardy is already in decline

For me, it’s Paqueta or Caicedo. Pino looks like a good shout but I’m more ambivalent towards him. Maybe if Pepe goes to France
I don't think Paqueta will ever be joining Arsenal. Bigger teams will aim for him if he spends another season at Lyon, as he will only get better.
That’s why I would try to push it this window, if he has a good WC, the January window will have bigger clubs sniffing around. Although, if he’s concerned about prepping for the WC, he may not want to come to Arsenal now. I do really like his profile however and the fit for this team

Bruh that may never happen knowing our history of bottling it when it matters.
It's an internship position but because most of the interns they had in the summer are returning to school and they needed someone immediately for the position I got it. I took a c programming class years ago but been fricking around with python not too long ago.
>Bruh that may never happen knowing our history of bottling it when it matters.
If it doesn't it doesn't, I don't need to work but if Arsenal do the business I'd be much more motivated

i started learning python more serious a bit late into the pandemic
been playing a shit load of video games so i havent bother do any coding for over a month now, but i prob restart soon

We were relying on the likes of Cedric, Elneny, Tavares, Nketiah in the final stretch.
>down 2 early
>Santi fk
>Kosc killing himself to equalize
>that Ramsey pashun to win it
>ending a trophy drought
It's in the league that they have a history of bottling it. Some of those top 4 finishes were barely made after an early title push.
>Software dev trainee
how did you land it? are you already a programmer?
You people need to get your head checked if you think Tavarez is better than Tierney, or just have the consistency longer than the memory of a goldfish. Tierney being Zinchenko's back up is already ridiculous, shut up about Tavarez.
Next you'll want Runarsson back.
Tavares just needs more time to work on his defense game and he'll come good, zinchenko will be playing the xhaka role eventually, runarsson though can frick off.
Tavares is great going forward. Suspect defensively, but that'll get better. He's only 22
My boy NTavz honestly just needs more time senpai
>Villa’s wishlist list to replace Diego Carlos is also claimed to include Arsenal centre-back Rob Holding
Suspected for a while Villa would want Holding after they got Chambers.
I forgot Rob Holding was still at the club
God I hope we fleece them if he does end up going. One of the few times we have the negotiating upper hands. Would have to make the most of it.
That behavior tells you he suffers from self pity to a degree.
we're winning the league
if we get 15 points out of first 5 games then i will start considering it
It's doable.
we're getting ninety points from the first thirty games
and then we are losing 8 games in a row to lose the title to manchester city by goal difference
and still finish outside the Top 4 below Tottenham.
Tottenham are finished. The Chelsea game showed they've regressed.
Chelsea game shows that they have the referees in their pocket.
True if it wasn't for the refs they should have lost. They had no control of the game at all, not even in spells. Completely out played by a notably weaker Chelsea side compared to last season even though spurs have strengthened, at least on paper. Tuchel nailed the tactics. The same tuchel that lost 4-2 to a weaker arsenal squad at the end of last season and got demolished 4-0 a week before the league started.
lmfao, embarrassing arsenal fan cope.
It's not just Arsenal fans saying it, Spurs made it too obvious.
>Topspur didn't grind out anything you got completely obliterated the entire game
There are 3-4 fouls every single corner, it's impossible for the referee to see them all. VAR does not award regular fouls. You are extremely dumb for not understanding this.
>But it is more than reasonable to expect a referee to see someone being hauled to the floor by their hair when he's looking DIRECTLY at it.
No, moron. You don't know where his eyes were focused, you're just judging by what the TV shows you. There are always 5-8 different things going on during a corner.
>uhh muh argument relies on top level referee unable to see someone being hauled to the ground
>THAT'S THE STANDARD
You know you're fricked when you are basically saying that you only got away with it because you think referees shouldn't be able to see a blatant foul taking place directly in front of them.
Sorry bud, that's not how it works. You got lucky.
Thank you for further illustrating your stupidity, idiot 🙂
>If you think a referee in the biggest league in the world is literally incaapable of noticing more than 1 (ONE!)[SINGULAR] event you are fricking braindead.
>Because it is.
Nah, he expects the referee to be as smart as him, so no wonder he keeps defending them.
>Prove it.
2nd place 🙂
>So you have no proof and are making shit up
No I'm simply applying basic logic, something you're simply too stupid to understand.
Keep crying about the referees being corrupt and paid by Tottenham at your leisure, it just further highlights your idiocy.
>tottenham are competing against city for the league trust me!
>can't even beat a weak Chelsea side who got smoked 4-0 by arsenal a couple weeks before
Stay mad I guess.
>it's impossible for the referee to see them all.
This is also why Romero isn't being suspended.
>by a notably weaker Chelsea side compared to last season
Oh, do explain.
It was basically the same as their best team last season, except Koulibaly instead of Christensen, Sterling instead of Lukaku and Cucurella instead of Alonso.
And you're trying to laughably claim it was better last season. Just lol.
Sterling is a winger not a striker.
Alonso has been far better than cucurella in his Premier league career.
Rudiger is better than koulibaly.
>Sterling is a winger not a striker.
Still better than Pookaku mate.
>Alonso has been far better than cucurella in his Premier league career.
You are really dumb if you think Alonso last season is better than Cucurella over the last 12 months.
Cucurella is clearly one of the best defensive fullbacks in the world right now, and is CLEARLY better than Alonso.
Because of the outrage at the refereeing that game I'd actually say Spurs might be under more scrutiny if anything.
2-3 with spuds in the other slot. City winning the league while Chelsea and Pool stumble a bit. United relegated.
>Nooo don't put on weight ur so tricksy aha
he looked like a child next to edu.

>Gabriel Jesus accumulated more xG (2.11) than 17 Premier League teams in Gameweek 2
and his first goal was incredibly low xG, means he missed a few other opportunities. Still a good game by all means but funny how xG works.
He'll have comfortably got over 1.5xG from the headed goal, one-on-one miss, and backpost shot that hit the post.
That's why Jesus is our savior
>he wasn't looking at it I swear!
