>bloodline vs ko and Randall
6/10, bit messy but fun >Women's title
5/10, messy and weird but Naomi was hot >Heavyweight title
8/10, Jay and Priest were good together >Women's tag title
8/10, Kabuki's were based and the frick up in the middle of the match and the 3 minutes of trying to find their way back into the match plan was funny >Undisputed title
9/10, AJ was based and Cody did his job being likeable even as the lamer of the two, also them trying to herd the crowd out of some of the chanting was funny
>Street fight
Breddy damn good. >Stiffy/Bayley/Naomi
Pissbreak. Naomi's ass is pretty fine and her having a big N on her gear is funny and Tiffy's growing on me but otherwise nothing special >Jey vs Damian
2/10. The usos should be superkicked out of existence and having the bigger heel be this much of an underdog and need three separate interventions to actually win is a joke. You could set up the judgement day breakup far better. BIG ASS HEAD was funny. >Kweenz v Kunoichi
Very messy but the finish is cool. I'm not really buying jade, she looks hot as frick but really lost in the ring. Kabuki were really fun to watch >Main event
Bit too long but I really enjoyed it. There was a botch that I wish wasn't because it would have been a cool spot, the one where Aj fell off the turnbuckle and pulled cody down with him.
>There was a botch that I wish wasn't because it would have been a cool spot, the one where Aj fell off the turnbuckle and pulled cody down with him.
holy worked
This was unironically better than WM for me probably because there were no giant intrusive ads >randall kevin owens vs brapline
Fun and based chaotic opener match, my stream cut out right before the end so I have no idea what happened other than another cocoBlack person debuting >womeme's match
Didn't watch as per >jey vs priest
A bit esoteric. Had some nice false finishes and overall a decent match for the standards of "Worst Mania Match Ever" Jey Uso and Damian Priest >womeme's match
Didn't watch as per >AJ Styles vs Cody
Smark fan service but enjoyable unlike most smarkdarling matches. Could've had a better finish but it is what it is.
Overall a decent little PPV. Crowd was really alive even if some of the chants were annoying as frick. 6.5/10 seems to be the most apt rating.
>RKO vs Coconut homies
Surprisingly fun, Randy didn't have enough spots and felt like a 2v1 >Women's Title
Eh but Tiffy gave me a stiffy >Jey vs Damian
Dimeless Borefest, World Heavyweight shouldn't be a midcard to begin with >Kabuki vs Jade + Bianca
Fun match, Jade needs to work on her selling >AJ vs Cody
8/10 Match, only Frogs had the balls to chant Stardust in front of Cody
Minus points for botched finish
the crowd was great but unfortunately nobody can work a crowd these days and just improvise a match, the rock would have a crowd like this eating out of his palm.
AJ v Cody was fricking based
KO/Randy vs Bloodline was great
the women's tag was almost good but something happened with the ref and they got lost in the middle
the three way was mid, crowd annoyed me the most in this one
the Jey match sucked, he tried to do a Roman main event in a midcard match for a """World Championship""" and it didn't work, he needs to be back in the coconut theater as soon as possible and Clash at the Castle can't come soon enough
A good show but that crowd is exhausting as frick to listen to after a few matches. I can get their excitement and even appreciate it but did they really need to do that chant after every single 2 count for the pins? Without a doubt the worst thing they kept doing.
Not necessarily.
If for example German talent knows enough French to get heat, you can start WW2 2.0.
And the same in reverse with French wrestlers who know enough German.
The heat you can get by pissing people off in languages they despise is almost surreal, it's that massive.
And it's not 1980 anymore, most Frenchmen and Germans know enough English to be sports entertained by a show in English. The single-most popular show in the entire world was Top Gear, quintessentially British and exclusively in English.
>And it's not 1980 anymore, most Frenchmen and Germans know enough English to be sports entertained by a show in English
It's pretty weird, I often wonder who the target audience is for the German (or French etc.) wrestling broadcast. Like they just try to translate everything word for word, speak over promos, "germanize" the moves, shit like that. I'm German myself and literally everyone on the internet back in the day made fun of it, but it seems these days there's a massive push for German WWE content. I find it extremely cringe and feel like anyone interested in wrestling would understand the English language. It's literally how I learned it in the first place.

The problem is that Non-Anglo European wrestling fans are still considerably few for there to be an active promotion
In order for that to happen they need to capture the best marks in sports, football hooligans who's not gonna budge no matter how muchmoney you throw at them
WWE has been getting progressivly better since SummerSlam 2022, and Backlash 2024 is no exception.
I doubted the Cody Crybabies, but he's THE guy right now.
>10/10 >We're truly in a new Golden Age of wrestling. WWE is so hot right now that I think they should do all PPVs internationally for the rest of the year. Those foreign crowds are much better than most domestic ones. I could think of a dozen cities / countries that they should go to.
>RKO vs BL
Ok, Orton MIA most of the match. Predictable ending with BL interference >Women's Chip
Mostly L. Naomi twerking on Tiffy's head was bsed. Tiffy carried the match and should have won >Jey Uso vs Gay Undertaker
Suprisingly good. Wish they would have pushed JD breakup further >Women's tag
Shit show. No one knew who was supposed to be in the ring half the time. Jade got hit once on the apron and was on the floor for like 10 mins. >Cody vs AJ
Meh and predictable, almost didn't watch
Didnt watch it and if that same card came up again id happily not watch that either. Might still wstch cody and aj even though its been spoiled for me.
It's been a matter of hours since the show and already all anyone's talking about on here is dirtsheet bullshit and aew. So I can only imagine the show was trash
Mid show elevated by great crowd
>mid
go back.
Slop for faithful subhuman moronic e-piggEs
Why do you hate the French?
kino
LALALA LA LA out of 10
Kino opener and ender. Inbetween matches were alright and carried by the crowd.
b show card with no title changes
But there was a title change
>women's tag
Doesn't count
Yes it does you weeb
for a ppv? 3/10 not as good as dynasty but it was ok i guess
One of Cody's best matches.
pure kino unironically. liked it more than mania night 1 and maybe even night 2
Not terrible, not great. Would have suffered severely in front of a different crowd.

So 7.2 overall?
Mid matches, only 5 matches is laughable, and annoying crowd. Low tier PPV

Better the Dynasty. The Crowd was the wildest in wrestling history.

LA Dimes will be King of the Ring
He already proved he was over yesterday
>considering the women tag team match anything but a shit show
joshipedos are delusional.
Great show let down by an awful crowd
the crowd was great but unfortunately nobody can work a crowd these days and just improvise a match, the rock would have a crowd like this eating out of his palm.

It was nice seeing Bianca’s dinner plate sized nipples in the close up of her see through top

Women's matches were very sloppy, but Bianca and Jade still looked really good. Men's matches were good, with Cody and AJ being a MOTY contender.
I think it's time the WWE starts producing a European brand.
I miss NXT UK.
It's significantly harder doing a multilingual show though
They need homegrown promoters that can scout talent
Not necessarily.

Show her the picture
That was a 2

Fedsloop/10
Middling show with a self-mark crowd
Proof that a good crowd will make any show seem good to normies
No Drew McIntyre 0/10
Why would Drew be there?
>10/10

Awesome opener
middle of the road midcard
Awesome main event
Amazing booking! The drama curve gods are pleased with its performance! They have gained 194.000 fans!
is this mode any good? last years was kind of mid
Boring matches but still amusing to watch because of a drunk French crowd putting themselves over the entire time
>Backlash was great
>"What?"
>I SAID BACKLASH WAS GREAT!
>"WHAT?"
Women's power rankings based on in ring performance tonight
Bianca
Tiffy
Osaka
Naomi
Kairi
Bayley
Jade
kys wimmen match enjoyer
8/10 PLE
Fun but predictable. All solid matches. The crowd was great until the end. They went into business with the chanting random shit.
i legit forgot about backlash. seriously how was it?
The Cody and AJ match was fantastic. The rest was pretty good for the most part.
i only watched the Cawdy vs AJ one AJ carried that shitter hard
I really enjoyed it because the crowd was hot for it and that was an infectious feeling and no Pat to stink it up with his shitty commentary.
I got super drunk and ended up in the icu and didn't realize it was on and I just now realized I missed it wtf b***h
Didnt watch it and if that same card came up again id happily not watch that either. Might still wstch cody and aj even though its been spoiled for me.
I think pretty much everyone correctly assumed who the winner would be, but the match was excellent anyway.
It's been a matter of hours since the show and already all anyone's talking about on here is dirtsheet bullshit and aew. So I can only imagine the show was trash
It's over.
