While we can all agree that Bugs was the Hogan, he started getting go-away heat in the latter era of Jones' booking. Bugs in the Clampett territories was the GOAT. Same with Daffy, his heel turn and feud with Bugs wore out its welcome after Wabbit Season (though I will admit that was 5 anvils).
I still wish they let Wile E. cut more promos after his infamous "my name is Mud" promo, which was only bad because he was sawdusted and on percs at the time.
Fortunetly for daffy over the years hes been able to adapt to any gimmick they give him and his popularity has been maintained and even grown.
