It's Keane's job to analyse teams/players and give his opinion, Haalands response is on the same level as Americans calling people obsessed for rightfully mocking their shit culture and country even though they force it on to the entire planet

Obvious bait but come on. Keane calling a 25+ goal scorer League Two quality is a moronic take. Haaland would score 70 goals in League Two

One of the derbies last year Haaland took a pen at Old Trafford and said after the game the fans were all chanting KEANO at him to try and put him off, weirdly added "I don't know why they were doing that"

Keane ended his father’s career and it was a huge scandal at the time, and again when he admitted deliberately doing it in his autobiography. Pretty sure he knows.

Haaland played international games after that tackle and retired due to an injury to his other knee.

          >Haaland played international games after that tackle
He played a single international game, a friendly against Bulgaria, where he was subbed off after 45 minutes because his leg didn't hold up

          >retired due to an injury to his other knee
He did also struggle with his other knee but it was no coincidence that he never played a full match ever again following that tackle
He was City's second most used player in the 2000/2001 season and ignoring the West Ham match one week after the tackle he never played more than 15 minutes for them in a match ever again
If you watch those 68 minutes against West Ham the following week after Keane's tackle it's very obvious he wasn't fit to play that game either
The bar for letting someone play were far more slack back then, never would've happened today with a competent medical team

      >Score 4 goals in a match, Premier League record is 5
      >Manager subs you off for no reason as if playing the final 10 minutes will make any difference to your fitness when the season is 98% done
Ultimately a meaningless record for Haaland to chase but also a strange decision to sub a striker out when they're in the zone like that, Pep's made a habit of doing it too, I understand the frustration
Likely would've scored a 5th if he stayed on, that Alvarez goal had Haaland written all over it

Doubling down like this is based. If City blow the league, Keane looks like a genius.

What's this moronic trend shitting on Haaland about? I genuinely don't get it. What has he done? Is it now illegal or "bad" to be very good at being a certain type of player instead of being able to literally everything? The dude is still fairly young, he's never done anything particularly arrogant or mean spirited or unsportsmanlike that would invite some form of backlash. It's such a womanly thing to do.

Calling it a "Haaland-Keane beef" seems unfair to me, what exactly is Haaland doing here? He's just playing and answering "I don't care" to probably dozens of questions, and Keane calls him a spoilt brat, championship player, etc. over and over - after having crippled his father many years ago, of course. Normally, I'd hope this is just for clout and attention in the media, which is despicable but unfortunately normal now
However, I don't really follow this argument, so who knows?
