Every single top 10 throw in discus history has been set in favorable wind, it's obviously near impossible to throw those sorts of distances in a closed stadium without solid wind assistance
He threw over 70m in all his attempts and beyond 72m three times though so that's far from wind luck. He has perfected his technique to an insane level of consistency and his average throw is unmatched
He became the youngest in the world to ever throw a 2kg discus beyond 70m last season at age 20 with a 71m throw so he's clearly an unique talent
Most discus throwers don't peak until their late 20s either so I don't know why anyone would think he wouldn't improve this season
74.35m is ridiculous but still within the realms of what's possible from what he's shown, his coach said he had thrown way beyond his old PB in training too

Roje Stona who finished 2nd in the same competition threw 69.05m, same dude threw 68.64m last season. 41cm PB is nothing out of the ordinary
Alex Rose who placed 4th in the competition had a best mark of 68.20m, he threw 69.41m a day later and 70.39m last season. Again, nothing special, way off PB
Miká Sosna was 3rd with 68.96m. That was a solid PB improvement from his 65.57m last season but this dude is also 20 and has the U20 WR in 1.75kg discus with 71.37m. Huge potential, big PB was expected this season

Point being, there were no insane results aside from his throws, he is of course still extremely unlikely to throw beyond 73m in a stadium as everyone else but people look like clowns trying to discredit him

That's not true at all, 9 of his 10 longest throws were at open fields. His PB was set at Bottnaryd, some literal who field with optimal wind conditions, over 90% of discus PBs are set at open field events, not in stadiums

He threw with good wind. There's also the fact that the "stadium" was just a farmers field with nothing blocking the wind. I will be surprised if he throws over 70m in Doha. There's no way he throws over say 72m again this season.

His base is in America afaik. Most others have their bases either in Europe or Qatar. Nobody was going to travel just for that one competition. And last season he also started well and when real competitions came he barley managed to snag a podium. He was far behind Stahl and Čeh. His brother is also good. Might have more potential than him.
