when a franchise moves, it doesn't matter who claims what. Prior titles are marred by a shameful event and nobody deserves credit. The fans retain the memories, but that's it.
Most Laker fans are darkies from Compton and israelites from Hollywood, all of whom were (sadly) born in the United States. Mexican subhumans don't care about apehoop. They care about the Doyers.
So I can't celebrate Clemson winning the Natty in 1981 because I was born slightly afterward even though I went to Clemson and was there when Clemson won two Natties?
>how do you celebrate something you werent alive for? genuinely.
It's easy if you aren't autistic.
Why should you celebrate any sports team win unless you're a member of the team?

You celebrate it. That's how you celebrate it. At what age were you first diagnosed with autism?

my college has a long and storied history. that history is part of everything we do, and every tailgate, game, party, event is part of something bigger of which we are fraction. you shouldn't be so smug if this is so confusing to you

This post is severe autism. People celebrate titles by celebrating titles. The fact that you ask "how" this is done proves you are a severely autistic moron.

How do you ‘celebrate’ the Minneapolis Lakers 1950 NBA championship? Do you eat lutefisk and lefse?

Well, for one, I look at photos from that team and read the players' statlines. I usually do this after a warm bath with some light instrumental music in the background for atmosphere. I study the portraits of the players closely and try to imagine what type of player they were. Video highlights are limited, but I have found some archives of the radio broadcasts from the time. Somtimes I fall asleep to these. I especially like to listen to them leading up to the playoffs. It's called knowing and appreciating history.

You're clearly not an actual American sports fan. If you were you'd know what teams and fans do to celebrate old titles. I saw Homer Jordan at my Clemson tailgate a couple years ago and got him to come buy for a hamburger and a beer and he talked to us about winning the 1981 championship. Actual fans do this all the time for old players who won old championships for their teams. Do you think Braves fans don't celebrate the home runs Hank Aaron hit as a Milwaukee Brave?

The Braves didn't abandon Boston or Milwaukee. The fans in those cities abandoned the Braves, so the Braves went looking for greener pastures. The Lakers are a different story--they moved solely for money. So what?

Boston wasn't big enough for two teams and Boston fans chose the Red Sox over the Braves. Boston Braves games were basically empty when they decided to move to Milwaukee. They had success in Milwaukee and won the 1957 World Series and played in the 1958 World Series but fans stopped going a couple years later and they moved to Atlanta. Not a thing wrong with that. Sometimes a team abandons its fans. Sometimes the fans abandon the team.
I've seen people with 1925 Pottsville Maroons NFL championship shirts. There is nothing wrong with celebrating old championships. It's part of American sports. Only a foreigner or an autistic would not understand it.
I'm a Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves fan. I am not a fan of any NBA team because I hate apehoop. I can't speak for the guy who posted the first reply to you but there's zero evidence he cares about the Lakers.
Meanwhile every Braves fan knows who Warren Spahn and Eddie Mathews are even though they played almost exclusively in Milwaukee. Most Braves fans know who Johnny Evers was too, a key player on the 1914 Miracle Braves.
A team is a team, homosexual. The Braves claim titles from Boston, Milwaukee, Atlanta, and Cobb County. Nothing wrong with that.
holy fricking cope
So you think the Brewers can claim the Milwaukee Braves' World Series championship?
How homosexual. Championships belong to teams, not cities.
Once a team moves the titles belong to the city, not the teams you dumb israelite.
lol this gay thinks the Washington Nationals won the 1924 World Series and the Milwaukee Brewers won the 1957 World Series
you think if the packers moved to Hawaii Green Bay would just let go of their titles? it’s like you don’t understand sports at all.
>holy fricking cope
absolutely boiling
yes, now please stop it. i can cook an egg on you.

For fans in LA to celebrate titles won in Minneapolis decades before they were even born is an entirely different level of pathetic.

Clemson is in the ACC, moron.
I'd celebrate it, but that's not really the same situation. Has a college ever relocated? To a different state, no less?
>moving the goalposts by conflating college and professional sports
Not so fast rabbi
College football in the South has been a pro sport for 50 years, moron.
Is that why the B10 and Pac12 just player for the natty?

Serious fans know and celebrate their team's history, moron. I'm a Yankees fan and I can certainly name tons of Yankees who played before I was born.
Most fans aren't "serious". Now apologize for thinking that you're not the moron here.
