Haven't heard of such plan... nor does it make any sense for Ukraine to invade Russia(even though crimea isn't lawfully a russian land) which has a much bigger and stronger army. I would believe that Ukraine could had planned to try to take Donetsk and Luhansk territories back, since they weren't officially recognised by Russia then, but not Crimea.

One of the reason for the invasion is Putins fear of Ukraine that at that time was making moves to join the west and emancipate itself from Russia after the discoveries of Oil sources would leave Russia obsolete since Russia exports the majority of its gas to the EU. And yes Dugin didnt have much influence back then since the US and Russia were on ok terms.
