If I remember, JR said "I had a breakfast with Jerry The King this morning", then there was a short pause, as if they were waiting for the boss's approval to talk about him, and they went on for a few seconds. So Tony doesn't hate him. He wouldn't let them talk about Hulk Hogan for example.
I can see him coming just from time to time for pay per views, or just a main event match, like Jim Ross does. It would be quite awesome.
I don't think Lawler ever wrestled WCW, and back NWA days, they would send talent to Memphis, but Lawler never went to Georgia; that is to say, Lawler and Tony never probably crossed paths for too much of a reason.
