Because no one watched it.
Glorious nippon players are allowed to kick out of the Burning Hammer (Or Bulning Hammelu, to give it it's proper name)
Fhite wasn’t even a board when this aired and Twitter wasn’t full of sweaty smarks at the time. I guarantee you people on /wooo/ were buttblasted
>I guarantee you people on /wooo/ were buttblasted
everyone in the taima-tube marked out
spanky is based and redpilled to the point of federal indictment
Was on /wooo/ at the time (I miss that shithole tbhne) and we marked out over the Burning Hammer and then were a bit annoyed at it not being the finish. Some were happy though simply because they wanted Ibushi to win, but the overall feeling is it was meant to be the finish if they were going to do it.
>t. one of the 6-10 people that was actually posting in the thread that night.
>Was on /wooo/ at the time
lol you werent, jobbers got proof they even used to stare at the lights, meanwhile i was maineevent during the entire first-row era
you were probably a school age kid when the network dropped
I fricking wish I was a school age kid when 9.99 started. Well, technically I was, but I don't think that trying (and failing) to watch Velocity on slow broadband after it fell off foxtel really counts. I still miss /wooo/, I completely skipped the /asp/ era here and came back fairly recently, it was >shitting up Fhite > timeskip > /wooo/ > timeskip >back home to this shithole for me.
Asp was so much better than this shithole and it's not even close
That is disappointing then. I felt like this place wasn't a patch on /wooo/, even if we were in heavy decline by the end. Shit really never gets better does it?
>I fricking wish I was a school age kid when 9.99 started.
back in my day, this was jerichos debut
thats how old I am
>*countdown intesifies*
I can relate anon, although that was earlier childhood (primary school specifically). I was on the other side of things though as a WCW kid (they had the better show on free to air here, we didn't have foxtel until high school). These days I wish it were true when somebody accuses me of being a zoomer, shit would be so much simpler if I was early 20s in this environment, interest rates and inflation wouldn't be as fricking important but what can you do, at least I can still watch vanilla midgets doing flippy shit and nips sawdusting themselves.
Kota didn’t kick out of one and immediately no sell.
There's literally nothing with kicking out of some random move nobody cares about, nerd
>There's literally nothing with kicking out of some random move nobody cares about
Because it was used as a 2.9 near fall and not kicked out off at 1 and immediately no sold. Why are being an apologist for a needlessly stupid spot and defending Cody?
frick the gay burning jobber on American soil
and the guy who did it carried the Jap title anyway, so the mafia approves
Nothing wrong with the move being done. It's not like both AJ and Cody don't have history in Japan. Even if they didn't who gives a shit about that. Doing a move that theoretically drops them down directly onto their head which is a hell of a lot more devastating than either of their actual finishers and choosing that to be the one to go 'yeah I should kick out at 1 and no sell it' is purely moronic though. It's the closest we've seen yet to how masturbatory Cody can get like he was in AEW
>It's the closest we've seen yet to how masturbatory Cody can get like he was in AEW
^no it isnt
>It's the closest we've seen yet to how masturbatory Cody can get like he was in AEW
This nails it. The fact that people are excusing it just because it's happening in WWE is laughable. He'll be their problem now
>He'll be their problem now
he was Lyons problem last night
the stadium has to have a safety inspection because the crowd marked out so loud it siesmically shifted off its base
>Foreign crowd that rarely gets live events finally gets a show and goes crazy the entire time
It's based but nothing we haven't been seeing for at least a year now. It's holds zero bearing to the week to week shows or reactions domestic crowds will have during them
>haha Lyon shook the stadium off the foundation, but heh, sorry Topeka, your milly doesnt count
What aren't you following? Do you think the next domestic crowd is going to """shake the building off its foundation""" again the next time Cody is on Smackdown?
>Do you think the next domestic crowd is going to """shake the building off its foundation""" again the next time Cody is on Smackdown?
maybe?
>when the bull takes too long and then says you cant felch the creampie
Did he kick out at 1 and hulk up?
HOLY FREAKING MEGASTARS
