It was destined to be like this. When destiny and divine will is on your side, it's just not possible to go against it. Hell, even fricking Vinicius scored the last goal, unbelievable.

This. Courtois never played any better than this in his life, and Valverde got a lucky assist.

Real players might not be capable of playing with the intensity Liverpool plays in but they are all extremely skilled. People act like they were completely outplayed every game and just scored off luck but they always some good runs where they looked like men playing against children.

The only game where they were really just lucky was the City first leg where they pulled up against De Bruyne without a DM

I don't know. Real Madrid winning a champions league, a truly remarkable tale of the underdog getting one over on the competition. David and Goliath in the modern day

Months and months of saying that Madrid is a geriatric team and that they will destroyed by the first club they face just to traumatise PSG, Chelsea, City and Liverpool, which according to pundits and subhumans are the greatests clubs in the world. So yea, david and goliath, sir

refball and mental strength. in all their games they rarely lose their cool and they are more technical than 90% of the teams in the CL, you can see them easily evade pressing with cold blooded combinated passes.

I mean it helps a LOT to not have any pressure in the CL, they won it so often than they don't have the pressure of getting good results there.

there might also be a match in estadio azteca in mexico which would be quite nice i guess

Strongmind. they don't despair when they're losing. Look how scared the Liverpool players were when Benzema made the goal, luckily for them, the first half was ending

Champions mind, they never doubted they could win it.

They tactically did just enough to thwart Liverpool in the final third, that's why liverpool had no clear cut chances just snap shots, despite having better posession. And Madrid took their one clear chance. These small fine margins win games.

Madrid had 5 big chances ( one was the disallowed goal), Liverpool had 1 ( Salah 80+), they won that match fairly bjt Courtois played like he never did before.

I don't understand the hype over Courtois' performance. Liverpool's attack was shit, they were half shots, nothing full on, and you'd expect any decent goalkeeper in the top 6 of their league to save those shots.

it's one of those games where you watch live half drunk and nervous and you see liverpool dominating but then a week later you watch with a cold mindset and see that madrid was superior during the whole match

The berber druid performing black magic from Marseille made Sheriff beat us at the Bernabeú which meant we'd make it to the final. After that it was just Carletto and the team outperforming Liverpool.
