>Three of those shows that hit a higher audience in the demo were made up of NBA coverage on TNT, which internally were considered "in the same family" by WBD.
So, am I getting this straight, Warner considers AEW to be in the same family as the NBA?
>SRS: The NFL Network was fine with Tony Kwab making a fool of himself >(5 minutes later) PWinsider: WBD was actually happy with the terrible ratings
Damage Control.
If Khan is planting these stories (doubtful, since both Johnson and SRS said they asked sources at WBD and NFLN respectively), that'd be smart. Using his connections to do PR and get positive stories out the way WWE does would be a positive development for him.
SRS is a fricking mark. Asking people that get their pr stories straight in a group chat before they leak or verify rumors and taking it at face value is mark shit. Thats why it was 100% proven he was worked by MJF during the resigning saga and worked by all the aew wrestlers when they gave him the Tony approved version of brawl out and the jungle b***h incident. At best you can say he was in on the work which just make him the millenial Bill Apter and in no way has anything that resembles journalistic integrity lmao.
MJF got his dad to work SRS. It's not a case of a bad source it's just Max playing him

That is a bad source. Uhhh I trusted a wrestlers dad, that has no obligation to tell me anything much less the truth, at his word. Thats the definition of a mark.
I'm not an expert in this sort of thing but why would a publicly traded company ever say they weren't happy with the performance of something ongoing like AEW
They wouldn't, but there are different tones to it sometimes. FOX not renewing SmackDown wasn't a surprise to anybody because FOX's tone whenever they discussed WWE, they usually seemed somewhere between lukewarm support and mildly annoyed.
>Every time the rating goes down, the deal goes down. >Every time the rating goes up, the deal goes up. >Tony metagames this by doing a show with 0 viewers at the start of the year, then getting one more person to watch each week.
no network actually tells you that the show they are airing sucks or embarrasses them, they just quietly bide their time while promoting it and then cancel it
You know these execs lie right? And WBD is the most bipolar company one minute they invest in movies (Batgirl, ACME movie) next the shelve them forever with 0 update only until its done.
Isn't it strange that we have to hear how WBD is "happy" with their shit ratings and the shit publicity this show gets almost weekly now? Never had to before, what's wrong AEWtards?
>the kool-aid actually tastes really good!
piggies are frickin squealing loud today
Renewal + max anytime now bros

They wouldn't, but there are different tones to it sometimes. FOX not renewing SmackDown wasn't a surprise to anybody because FOX's tone whenever they discussed WWE, they usually seemed somewhere between lukewarm support and mildly annoyed.
I bet WBD is happy with the ratings, every plummet saves them money

They wouldn't give a quote if they thought it was shitty
Then they would print "We reached out to WBD for comment but they declined" and that's damaging
It wouldn't be damaging, it would be not receiving any information.
The story is the quote moron
He was pointing out a fact and you pointed out the same fact and called him a moron, moron squared

Frick this place really sucks
Oh you mean the angle that the NFL article referred to as fake? Yeah that worked out really well guys.
What do you expect them to say publicly?
>Yeah, this property we air on our networks is shit, you shouldn't go to the shows or watch it, there's no point.
They could say nothing, story was they got an answer moron
piggie tears tasting real sweet right now
>really happy with the numbers
>still no renewal
>the source
sounds like what someone told cameron grimes a week before he was fired
Why we anybody care what WBD thinks?
Isn't it strange that we have to hear how WBD is "happy" with their shit ratings and the shit publicity this show gets almost weekly now? Never had to before, what's wrong AEWtards?
A rating that shit couldn't make them happy no matter the circumstance. It's a bad number. At best they'd be not upset.
