>I think it's cool to hate the American things look at me hating the American things I love foreign things like K - Pop so much because I am a free thinker with taste
Insufferable reddit mindset. These other countries will never love you, you're always going to be a filthy Amerimutt to them. Might as well embrace it.
Both the NFL and MLB are amazing (although I only watch the playoffs for baseball), can't bring myself to watch the NBA (yet), I've tried to watch the league in the past but I don't it's for me. The NBA disrespects its viewers
NFL is fun if you have a phone or someone to talk to during the commercials.
The NBA is meh, kind of boring to watch but very fun to see people online shitting their pants about it.
I would rather tear my balls out and use them as Ping Pong balls before watching an entire Baseball game.
Basketball is decent and I want us as a nation to do well in it. NBA seems cancerous to me though
Ice Hockey is pretty cool, Germany has a dedicated fanbase (for German clubs) and I really enjoy that more and more Germans make it to the NHL, although most of the potential still is untapped
Baseball is autistic and therefore not bad in my opinion, but I still can’t imagine it taking off here, even despite the autism we Germans love. To me, it’s just boring for the most part. I guess you have to grow up with it. Nothing against it.
Football/Handegg can be somewhat neat to watch from time to time, but I really dislike Euros who genuinely follow it. I don’t think this sport offers us anything. But I don’t mind you guys watching and playing it since it’s yours
Indycar also has its perks, even though I prefer F1 all in all
Baseball is more interesting the more you understand it. Its also good if you're a math or number autismo, and its the best sport if you want to check your phone every 5 to 10 minutes
Vince is extremely based. He's been doing shit for decades that would get anyone cancelled in any other industry. Nothing ever happens because he owns the pro wrestling industry.
>Best
NFL (if it weren't for the commercial breaks every 5 minutes, makes the broadcast unwatchable, the sport itself seems fun tho)
>Worst
MLB (in fact, I don't even recognize baseball as a real sport, it's a small exercise routine you do after a tasty BBQ to support your metabolism)
NFL is the best one. Basketball might be good if I watched a good game, but every basketball game I've ever seen, I've hated. Baseball is weird and boring and you can't figure it out just from watching. Ice hockey should be a lot better than it is.
The thing that holds back ice hockey is it’s tempo.
Compared to football which is very rhythmic, coordinated, and explosive. Hockey is way more gliding around somewhat loosely.
There’s no real point where all the players efforts are coordinated together in a single push, except maybe with some good passing.
It’s just Euro football but sped up on ice.
NFL by far but the breaks are ridiculous. Why do they need an ad break after a turnover or a scoring play? Just tell the players to get their asses to the line of scrimmage and form up. Can't take more than 20 seconds but we get more like 20 ads instead
Basketball or Ice Hockey and it's not even close. American football, Baseball and NASCAR are unbelievable boring, I guess if you're getting drunk in the stadium you'll enjoy them
I would like baseball if I wasn't already in love with cricket. NFL I like watching highlights of, watching games live is unbelievably boring and I hate the whole offensive/defensive team element. Basketball is fricking terrible.
I love Basketball and Baseball.
Football just doesn't do it for me, there are too many stoppages, contrived rules in order to make the sport work, two different teams to play offense and defense which is somewhat infuriating to a Futebol fan.
People usually think its boring bc they don't understand the pitches.
There's a lot of strategy and situational play involved.
Like set a guy up high and inside with a fastball. Then throw a slower pitch in the same location
I really like American Football and watch both collegeball and nfl.
I'd love to watch baseball and basketball but they're both on too late over here to really watch, whereas NFL is on about about 6PM and makes for great Sunday night viewing.
i like basketball because it requires so much fricking skill to be good at it, blows my mind. i also like how it still has this raw aspect where you can completely shit on another player with a dunk or breaking their ankles and shooting a 3.
i'm kind of neutral on baseball, the idea of the game is good but the games just take too long.
handegg can be pretty exciting (watched the bears for a while when i was a NEET 10 years ago) but the constant commercials ruin it. at times it felt like i was watching a parody because of all the truck and fast food commercials.
NBA. I love it since I was a child. I started following it seriously when Jordan came back after his hiatus. I watched the whole Timberwolves' regular season 3 years ago, but I can't do that anymore. The games are around 3am here...
Easily basketball. I appreciate the skill in American football but I cant' get into it and I'd rather watch Rugby or Aussie Rules. Basketball is the only one where the alternative is complete shit and for women.
American football might be the best spectator sport in the world. It's a really great game and I like the fan culture too. I think the fact that the season is so short makes me appreciate it even more.
Hockey is also a great game but unfortunately doesn't have the same popularity as football. There are probably too many games played and it can sometimes get quite tedious. I would prefer two halves rather than three periods. 3 v 3 hockey is an amazing spectacle but penalties are extremely anticlimactic. Should be a much more popular sport than it is.
Baseball can be fun but it is an extremely slow game for this modern world. The games are too long and there are too many of them. I tried to get into it once but realised it was less time consuming and more enjoyable to watch the highlights instead. Also very depressing watching half empty stadiums all the time. Feels like this is a declining sport.
Basketball is my least favourite of the main American sports. The back and forth nature of the game is tedious to watch and the amount of fouls given is excruciating for new fans. Feels like half the attacks end in someone flopping to the floor after barely being touched. I don't really see the point in tuning in until the 4th quarter as that's where the game is mostly won. Also the most political of all the sports and it's nauseating having black Id politics shoved down your throat.
Basketball is the most popular one outside of the U.S.. I've talked to europeans and they could name Jordan, Shaq, Kobe and LeBron off the top of their heads but had never even heard of Tom Brady
guess all the europoors are waking up. the only sport in america that is fricking pointless is soccer, our major leagues are a joke, but at least we beat mexico or something lol
basketball is boring until last minutes of the game (it would be better with volleyball scoring system)
baseball is just dreadful but the uniforms are nice
hockey is all right but hard to follow the action and too similar to football
Handegg is the most alien, uniforms have great look to them, it's the most America frick yeah, gets most media coverage and the season is of a perfect lenght
Ι mean the only one watched here is the NBA.
I would guess the NHL has some fandoms in europe and thats about it.
The rest appear to complete autistic morons.
>Thought sometimes I wonder why no player tries to not letting the ball inside the basket when someone does a long shooting
that's called goaltending and isn't allowed
If it stopped being Advertisement Ball, handegg would be pretty good - as much as I enjoy making fun of it. But a sport that's supposed to be around the length of a soccer game taking up to 4 hours due to ad-spam is unwatchable. Baseball is actually horrifying in its boredom, it seems more of a replacement for going to a park with your mates that you also pay for. Hockey is alright, it just seems slightly off that the main objective is getting past a "fat" guy taking up 90% of the goal. It's either worse than semen slurpers in soccer or very entertaining depending on skill level between teams. NBA could theoretically be fun but triple digit points make scoring boring until the end and people finally realising that you can bypass the entire defense with 3 pointers doesn't bode well. It would be like if every soccer player could score from 40 yards out. What you want to see is dribble drobbles and dunks, not some lanky nerd throwing into empty nets.
Soccer is by no means perfect, it could use some rules to deal with diving (eg. you get sidelined for a couple of mins if you stay on the ground for too long - helping actually hurt people to recover and punishing divers) but it also gets minor rule revisions annually and major ones every 3-5 years, so it doesn't stagnate as much as other sports.
>people finally realising that you can bypass the entire defense with 3 pointers
i think that's mostly because of how the rules for defense have changed so trying to stop a 3 pointer will almost always end in a foul
Out of all North American sports I only really enjoy hockey for purely the love of the game, but I have a soft spot for international baseball as well. Japanese-Korean rivalry is just super hilarious to me for some reason.
NFL - boring shite, that takes too long, with too little action, too many breaks too msny adverts. It should not take 4 hours to complete a match lasting 60 minutes

they're all commercial filled shitfests, hopefully we start replacing you faster

Ice Hockey. Occasionally go to see my local team play.
Baseball is the only one with soul.
For me Baseball is the best one, Basketball is the worst, but this would be the opposite opinion of everyone else over here.
>look how special my opnions are

I watch Euro basketball sometimes if that counts

must be basketball due to slam dunk unironically
Baseball looks like it could be fun but Ive never really watched it. Lot of people say its too boring as well
People usually think its boring bc they don't understand the pitches.
There's a lot of strategy and situational play involved.

I'd love to watch baseball and basketball but they're both on too late over here to really watch, whereas NFL is on about about 6PM and makes for great Sunday night viewing.
NHL
NFL favourite.
Baseball hated.

Basketball is the only one of the three that I consider to be a proper sport.
NBA. I love it since I was a child. I started following it seriously when Jordan came back after his hiatus. I watched the whole Timberwolves' regular season 3 years ago, but I can't do that anymore. The games are around 3am here...

Probably NFL because we don't have anything like it. Most people are saying baseball but that's just professional rounders. Even yanks dgaf about it.
Basketball but only with FIBA ruleset
Is there a single watchable non-anglo sport? football, soccer, baseball, basketball, hockey, rugby, etc
guess all the europoors are waking up. the only sport in america that is fricking pointless is soccer, our major leagues are a joke, but at least we beat mexico or something lol
Surely you mean Ameripoors.
For me, it's Baseball. Top comfy, also a decent filter for plebs and brainlets.
>Question for non-Americans: what is your favorite (or least hated) American sport?
Women's beach volleyball.
For me, it's women's wheelchair basketball.
i like american football, but baseball seems very boring
American Football. I really really wanted to get into baseball, because it looks like a blast to play, but watching it is just not for me.
Handegg by far

Hockey, everything else is boring or packed with blacks.

if you like an american sport you are a better countryman than most people who live here in my eyes
Baseball ofcourse
closest thing to Cricket + includes actual white people playing and spectating
Out of all North American sports I only really enjoy hockey for purely the love of the game, but I have a soft spot for international baseball as well. Japanese-Korean rivalry is just super hilarious to me for some reason.
