Do you think it's legit? There might be something to proper body movement and breathing it teaches.

No
>There might be something to proper body movement and breathing it teaches.
Nearly every other martial art teaches it better.
I don't know if other arts teach that kind of breathing. I've read that it teaches a sort of breathing that lets you remain calm during physical exertion and combat. It's even supposed to carry over to your life and make you more cool in everything you do.
It seems crazy beneficial if true
>lets you remain calm during physical exertion and combat.
lol
this is why you train so you get used to putting yourself in shit positions and surviving so it's just another tuesday
don't train memes, just train legit shit and you'll get that stuff
Yeah and part of it depends on your genetics, yet teaching it is one of the benefits it promises. Also not getting gassed while doing army stuff like crawls.
I agree some of it seems far fetched, but I wanna believe
Thought Systema was like Krav Maga, only russian
It’s more like aikido with all its woowoo mystic bullshit
Russian Wing Chun
Its not
What an obnoxious baboon. I don't need him pointing out obvious things anyone can see in the video.
It's not a hard method, but I want to know if you can use the mystic Russian Aikido to improve hard stuff by training your body to be relaxed like that.
There's an Anglo dude on youtube teaching it too, if you've got a problem with Russians.
Actually seems alright, if you need something for your rest days
It's so much worse then Krav.
Krav is a bit basic and has a lot of shit trainers but fundamentally it's just bits and pieces of stuff that works put together in a quick to teach package.
Systama is fundamentally broken and is bullshit from top to bottom.
>I don't need him pointing out obvious things anyone can see in the video.
But you were asking if systema works, it'a pretty obvious it doesn't and i sent you a video of someone who can fight pointing out how it does not
>It's not a hard method, but I want to know if you can use the mystic Russian Aikido to improve hard stuff by training your body to be relaxed like that.
Look at these out of shape guys teaching systema, do you think these fatties have something useful to teach in regards to fighting? Just sign for a real martial arts gym
As a rule, never trust any style where the majority of instructors aren't in shape. They don't have to be ripped or huge, but being visibly overweight in a photo meant to advertise yourself is almost guaranteed to mean run. Especially if you've never heard their name before.
The out of shape guy is like their guru and he's supposed to be kind of a big deal former badass. Ripplebreasts is revered despite being a fat overbearing boomer and I think it's the same sort of deal with Ryabko.
Well it is used almost exclusively by Russian professional soldiers, fsb and special police. And I know from the stories they told from Afghanistan and bar fights in Russia that it works very well.
It's not a sport. That is what most people miss. It is not two people with gloves going into a ring to engage in polite fisticuffs. It's about destroying people in violent conflict.
>Ryabko
Ryabko has been to a lot of wars. He joined the military at 15, and spent his life in special forces. He has a lot of injuries
No
No
Older guys are an exception. My old Taekwondo Trainer had a belly because he was over 60 and had quite some knee Problems. Still the best Trainer i had so far
