They ran off the majority of their paying audience and lost 60 fricking million in a single year. AOL/Warner were obviously going to incur tremendous loses if they continued to operate WCW and made a decision to cut a laughably underperforming division. It wasn't because big meanie heads didn't like wrestling.

There is no debt you fricking donut, Shahid Khan is making profit EVERY single year! Whilst AEW bleeds money the profit they get from other sources makes it look minor.
