If NBA leaves WBD, they have nothing, they will start getting dropped from Deluxe cable packages down to Super Deluxe cable packages, so they'll still be in plenty of homes, but they'll take a 10-20 million subscriber hit. I guess it's possible they stay in the top package, but with drastically reduced carriage fees (and ad rates overall).

Cable companies would not drop TBS and TNT just for losing NBA (even though they will still probably keep the NBA since the rights will be split 3 ways instead of 2).
