USA will top the group with 9 points. I don't think any of you any any idea of how good their talent pool currently is. England is meme team with no attacking identity whatsoever. Its clear that without a strike partner, Kane is a lost cause and teams have started to figure out cross spamming. When it comes to gritty defending and grinding out a result and the other teams are more capable than them. They will be bottom, I guarantee it.

It's probably worth pointing out that when McKennie, the one US player that you guys argue could get into the England team, played against a bunch of second-string English players (James, CHO, Chalobah, Chilwell and Loftus-Cheek), it didn't end well

Also worth mentioning that, despite starting up front for that team, Pulisic (the second best US player) neither registered a goal nor assist (unlike 4 of the english players) and wasn't even mentioned in the match report

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/59379437

In fact, it seems that McKennie's place in Juventus is more an indication of their downward spiral than the quality of young American prospects - his first year with the club was the first time in almost 10 years that they didn't win Serie A, which until that point had become known on here as "juvewinslol", and their champions league runs were laughable

      >mogged by Villareal

      >vanquished by Porto's boomer army

Having said that, wouldn't this be the same Rangers team who did this to Reyna's Dortmund?

            & this to Adams' Leipzig?

Mckennie was having an outstanding season and being raved about in Italy until he got hurt on a dirty play he missed the last 3 months of the season.

English never rate anyone until he plays in England. I welcome his move to Tottenham. He has been doubted at every single place he's arrived at, and violently won them over. He will do the same to you. Even Mexicans say he's great.

Our players who arent memes and real talent:

just moved to Leeds, had 2 assists vs Bayern in UCL, top 1% pressor in world via analytics. Has real skill. You'll get to see him in England.

            >Musah
Outstanding box to box 8. Valencia plays him at winger, not sure why. He is incredible in midfield. Looked like best player on the pitch vs Uruguay. Rated top 10 U20 in world by top 5 league minutes.

            >Reyna
Our most talented player. Permainjured the last year. Genuinely top 5 U19 in the world. Hopefully he fixes injury problems.

            >Pulisic
            You already know

            >Adams
Solid defensive midfielder, looks like moving to Leeds possibly

            >Chris Richards
Bayern Munich. Played for Hoffenheim on loan lasts season, made team of season. Naggelman said he will get time for senior Bayern team this season. Big year coming.

            >Tim Weah
Lille, Has always shown in flashes but never consistent, and was skinny and weaker side. He has grown into body, added muscle. He finished the last 2 months with Lille with 5 G/A. He ran all over Uruguay

We have tons of younger players in other top 5 league teams, but these are the players that have genuine ability and already playing lots of minutes

    USA/Wales official combined XI

ST: Jordan Siebatcheu, Young Boys, USA
Reason: 30 total goals, 5 in UCL, 3 in Europa this season

    RW: Gareth Bale, WGM, Wales
    Reason: None needed

    LW: Christian Pulisic, Chelsea, USA
Reason: Experienced Champions league starter. Goals vs biggest clubs in world. I like that Johnson kid from Forest for Wales, but no where near Pulisic yet. Needs more time. Dan James another option, simply nowhere near Pulisic level, and experience. 74 EPL games, 90 Bundesliga games, 43 Champions League games.

    CM: Weston Mckennie, Juventus, USA
Reason: Literally benched Ramsey at Juventus. Mogged him so bad he ended up at Rangers. Mckennie is lock starter in Juventus midfield, and experienced Champions league starter. 55 games in Serie A, 75 games in Bundesliga, 19 champions league games

    CM: Brenden Aaronson, Leeds, USA
Reason: Champions League Knockout stage starter. 2 assists vs Bayern Munich in UCL. I could also put Yunus Musah here, or Gio Reyna here, or Ramsey here. Ramsey is 31 and Aaronson is flat out a better player right now and EPL starter.

CDM: Tyler Adams, RB Leipzig, USA
Reason: Over 75 Bundesliga games, over 14 Champions League games including goal on Champions League quartfinal vs Atletico Madrid

    LB: Antonee Robinson, Fulham, USA
Reason: 28 EPL games, 130 EFL games, elite speed

    CB: Ben Davis, Tottenham, Wales
Reason: 248 EPL games. 20 Champions League games. Good player. In his prime.

CB: Chris Richards, Bayern Munich, USA
Reason: Was team of year at Hoffenheim on loan, Naggelsman says Richards will be in line for Bayern Munich senior team this season. 35 Bundeslinga games, 3 Champions League games.

    RB: Sergino Dest, Barcelona, USA
Reason: 51 La Liga games, 16 Champions league games

    GK: Hennessy, Burnley, Wales
Reason: In the world cup because of him

        We have key players at:
Chelsea (Pulisic), Juventus (Mckennie), Barcelona (Dest), Borussia Dortmund (Reyna), RB Leipzig (Adams), Leeds United (Aaronson), Fulham (Robinson/Ream), Valencia (Musah), Gladbach (Scally), Lille (Weah), Augsburg (Pepi)

We also have a tons of players in the English Championship

Maybe soon to be key players for:

My autistic breakdown of USA each game:

    >Wales
Wales will never see it coming. USA might be the worst possible matchup in the entire world cup for Wales.

USA does everything Wales does but better. Wales speed will be irrelevant vs USA, USA much better pressing team, and better transitional team. Both have great goalies. The entire country is ignorant to USA team and will expect them to win. They are outgunned in 9 of 11 positions. Wales will be shellshocked by the meth press. Their manlet midfield isn't press resistant, and might genuinely have their chests caved in on the day.

    USA 3 Wales 1

    >England
Off the back of the Wales win, the hype for this game will be insane. Which is a perfect storm of disaster for USA. The only way USA ever wins is if they get BTFO by Wales and England try to coast.

England takes the game very seriously after the Wales result. The entire English midfield is press resistant, they can completely eliminate USA spam cross with Slabhead. England are a terrible matchup for USA, as England are press resistant and elite in the air in the back. The only weakness for England is Pickford vs the cross.

This game is a humbling. England 4 USA 1

    >Iran
Iran was good last world cup because of the great manager they had. Their midfield is slow and aging.

USA has elite pressing, and elite transition game, good in air, meh elsewhere

Terrible matchup for Iran. Our ngubu midfield will run wild and Iran doesn't have the ball ability and aren't press resistant

USA vs Iran would be similar score to USA vs Morroco. Add in the emotion and drama, and it'll be USA 2 Iran 0

    USA finish with 6 points

Wales have no idea how badly their manlet midfield will be broken in half by the sheer power of bbc

England vs. USA will be even bigger in the US considering it happens the day after Thanksgiving. Everybody will be off work and in a patriotic mood.

I fear this too. England can pretty much cancel out everything we're good at. Might get ugly if England try hard.

Yanks are delusional if they think they are getting out of the group, lets take it back to 2016 with a less strong team

Go look at World Cup 2010 table. USA finished first in almost identical table. Means nothing.

USA choked pretty bad in 2010. Should have scalped a poor England side, but let the occasion get to them. Should have beaten Ghana, but got psyched out by the hostile fans

          >poor England side
England was ranked #4 in the world hahaha, thus the EASY meme.

Lampard, Cole, Gerrard walk into your current starting XI

          What is this revionist bullshit?

            >fifa wankings
            >I have heard of these players, therefore it was a good team
England were a bad team from 2005-2017. Previous to that world cup they'd failed to qualify for Europe. Examine their results. A USA without a smolteam mentality would have beaten them

They were unbeaten in WCQ and were hyped for months before the World Cup

            >the annihilators of Andorra

There was enormous hype for England before the 2010 world cup

There always is. Does hype mean a team is good now?

you can't seriously think anyone perceived England as the 4th best nation on earth pre-World Cup 2010?

do you think you were the 3rd best nation in the world before World Cup 2006?

no there wasn't. it was the first World Cup i can remember where there was no hype. there was hype in 98, 2002, 2006, Euros 2004. didn't qualify for Euro 2008. we knew we were shit.
