Mostly but not entirely. That said there's only a few sports there where they're the best state, being >nba >cbb >mls (?) >gymnastics
The rest are held by other states.
Don't know if you can say that given USC and UCB have plenty of national title claims (and natties). Texas does mog in terms of esteem and that's where I tie it.
>>NHL >Tie (lets face it who cares about either state's teams)
You're an idiot. The Dallas Stars are perennial playoff contenders with several deep runs in recent memory
If you don't know frick all about a sport you can just keep your mouth shut about it you know
Somebody's a Stars fan. Tell me this, apart from when they won the Stanley Cup who ever talks about them? That's what I'm talking about. I'll also say this, they've won one (1) Cup, the Kings have won 2 and the Ducks 1. You should feel lucky that I gave you the tie. >but muh runs
Nobody gives a shit about runs if you don't win, especially in American sports with franchises.

I don't really follow MMA, think Joe Rogan mentioned him moving there recently. Might have been Nick, I just listen to it as kinda background noise.
Not really, Google, Meta, OpenAi, Nvidia are post 2000 companies

None of those are innovative. Search engines and social media had been conceived before. Cali is far from its growth phase and if anything companies are slowly making their way out.

And what is innovative? Oil fields and fracking in texas?

I'm not making a case for Texas, more a case against Cali's direction after building up such a strong lead from 1950-2000. It's Paradise Lost.

Lakers have what 6 rings post 2000 and you've got the Rams and Kings, Angels and Dodgers so it's not like they are at a standstill in the 21st century

Los Angeles by itself has had an MLS, NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL championship since the turn of the century.

We, Texas, don't believe sports teams are part of some evil fantasy cabal know as 'the Patriarchy'.
Watch how many cali teams flee the state in the next 10 years.
if you don't live in western Montana/Yellowstone area or New Hampshire or California only if you're wealthy you're some insurmountable combination of stupid, poor, or brown
Going forward Texas is clearly ahead in University athletics.
USC is past its prime. UCLA’s athletic department is broke- the Big Ten move will merely save it from bankruptcy. Stanford and Cal are traditionally only good at sports nobody cares about but are now cast off into an east coast based conference. The Cal State schools have all been systematically sabotaged, prevented from every being anything more than MWC teams, by their in-state Pac 12 teams. As a result, the only teams in California with major programs are those from elitist schools that nobody in the state feels represented by, Fresno State/ San Diego State probably have better local support than the major programs
For Texas, Texas and A&M are both very wealthy programs who will probably eventually succeed in all sports just by being wealthy. Than they have another 4 solid programs in the Big 12, and SMU appears to be on the rise with their ACC move, even if the ACC falls apart they have already elevated their program from what it is before.
Yeah. The future of university athletics is definitely in Texas unless USC figures out a way to bring back white Californian students and entice donors to spend money on the program. That being said, there is history and both Texas and A&M only have a handful of natties between them. They’re both “historic” programs, though. A&M’s history is interesting to read about and Texas has a legend or two as well. They’re both separate university systems with wealthy donors paying millions every year to support all athletics. The California schools don’t have that, but they do have more national historical relevance.

Nothing within 30 miles of the city limits is based, it's all a shit hole. Fredricksberg has also turned to shit with all the dumb tourists getting drunk on the streets and causing issues.

meh, depends on where you're trying to live and what you do. I'm actually in the process of selling my home and buying something smaller just because the prices have gotten so insane. I'm up 25% in the last three years, and took a 30k tax credit for the solar scam.

Yes. It's why ~~*they*~~ targeted it so hard.
Who are they?

I would agree Cali mogs Texas in everything else, but in CFB Texas takes the cake easily

what even happens in California besides tricking millennials into voluntary slavery?
Innovation, culture, thought leading, success, etc etc
That was all happening pre-2000
Not really, Google, Meta, OpenAi, Nvidia are post 2000 companies

That's the midwest actually.

Lots of drugs and homelessness.
Anti-cali propaganda is so strong even foreigners are picking up on it. I used to hate Cali until I moved here. It's paradise if you can afford it.

What's the catch with New England?
There isn't one. Best place in the whole US of A
You even have New Hampshire if you want to chud out
if you don't live in western Montana/Yellowstone area or New Hampshire or California only if you're wealthy you're some insurmountable combination of stupid, poor, or brown
I can only speak for Mass but it's rapidly becoming a brown shithole and the cost of living in Boston is atrocious, most of it is a smelly dump.
We are getting drowned with """"asylum seekers"""" now, I live in the whitest state and it's insane the number of random foreigners the last 5 years
Really in New England? Why there of all places
why does everyone spend all their time obsessing over us? we literally don't think about any of you at all
It’s an election year, you’re obsessed with us right now.
We know what you obsess over. Degenerate trash.
