When the attempt is between two fricking morons, no one wins. You could concede that black shorts landed more hits but this match is so fricking pathetic it doesn't mean anything. The only worth while fights between two complete amateurs are the knock out ones. Otherwise it's nearly impossible to declare a winner by points between people who suck this much.

Pulling back is a good way to avoid punches if you do it correctly. You need to Bend at the back knee though to maintain your balance. morons like in the OP do it at the waist.

The latter, you don’t need to step in order to lean back. In fact, the ideal time to do it is when you are just barely in their punching range so that you can pull your head just slightly out of range then come back forward and rock them.
