he did sometimes like the match with dustin

Thats literally the only Cody match worth remembering in his whole AEW tenure. And maybe the spot with Sammy.

Because he never really wanted to be in the troony fed. Cody saved it all for WWE.

Literally nobody tries as hard in AEW. Every single white wrestler you've ever seen on AEW television grew up wanting to wrestle for WWE.

Literally this, you homosexuals are moronic. Cody had plenty of stellar matches in AEW, you smarks were just so dead-set on hating him that you couldn't appreciate them.

think their was legit heat between him and TK/the elite

  9. 2 years ago

He unironically tried the hardest compared to anyone else in AEW, you just didn't want to cheer for him because "hurr he should be heel durr" smark bullshit. He was visibly fed up with the smark audience that didn't accept him.

  10. 2 years ago

Cody did but the smarks in the AEW crowds are all irony poisoned and couldn't react properly to Cody's sincerity. They're much happier cheering on a comedy act instead of confronting any real emotion.

Yeah his so sincerity feuding with QT Marshall and his school wasn’t appreciated enough

cody worked hard as frick in aew. stop the headcanon. he was one of the pillars despite what smarks think. his ratings were always solid.

You just didn't get it you need a high IQ to understand the Codyverse.

  14. 2 years ago

He did, the problem was he refused to listen to the crowd reactions and tried to force them with dumb spots. If he came out that injured in AEW he would have turned the crowd around because that's legit just being fricking tough.

Working through adversity isn't the same as dumb spots that suck all the attention onto you (and sometimes your fricking wife)

Why do they still do all the same stuff and same angles in AEW now that Cody's gone, but Cody's doing way better stuff in WWE?

      >Killed Darby (the guy Cody built-up) stone dead.

      >Beats Hobbs
      >Beats Kingston (Who was brought in thanks to Cody's open TNT championship. And Darby has to job to MJF to keep him strong for Phil)
      >Beats Wardlow
      >Jobs to MJF with a ton of bullshit booking (and only drew 50k fans - fricking kek)

Haven't been watching or keeping up to date for over a year. Is this unironically Punk's AEW run? Lmao, what a dumb frick. Why does Tony allow this shit? He's the biggest mark working in the industry.

Yep, forgot to add that the episode of Dynamite where MJF took on megastar CM Phil (two months of build. FIRST TIME EVER) was the lowest watched episode of Dynamite since its move to TBS. Worth every penny, eh TK?

Can't believe they're tanking their product over pushing fricking Cuckman Phil of all people. At least WCW made some kind of sense, because it was fricking Hogan and he was actually extremely hot with the crowd for a while. Why the frick are they doing this?

      Based.

      >got the win back over half of those guys he put over
      >realize Tony won't give you the world title.. frick uhm.. "It was my own decision to not win the title"

  16. 2 years ago

He did a moonsault off a steel cage breaking his toes. He did a burning table spot with Andrade and got bad burns on his back. Guess that wasn't enough to win the troons over.

      Anonymous

Because that self-aggrandising shit was why people turned on him. You can't win the people back after you do a bunch of attention seeking shit by doing more of it. It looked like they realised that during the black feud, and if he didn't do the second rematch and then

      >Ditched the Codyvator for a while at least
      >Toneed down the entrances, stopped bringing out a whole entourage (Arn was over so he's allowed)
      >Didn't do anything massively attention seeking (and absolutely no brandi) for a while

There, he'd have won the crowds back. Maybe teased the pedigree and actually done it too. Hell he could probably have gotten away with the Codyvator at PPV too, because it would have at least been a big event.

Sounds like you don't like him because he was a real professional wrestler.

        >Because that self-aggrandising shit
kek what a worked b***h. Imagine caring about a wresler self-aggrandising. AEWtists don't even understand basic wrestling shit. Oh no, a wrestler has a lavish intro, the horror

  17. 2 years ago

    >Why didn't Cody try this hard in AEW?
Fricker set his back on fire against Andrade and got his gourd split open because of the way the entrance ramp was designed among other things.. Why do Elitrannies seethe this much?

  18. 2 years ago

He did. You just missed it because the moronic shit before codys segments made you turn the tv off.

  19. 2 years ago

You don't have to try in aew because the owner is a manchild money mark. there is no accountability there. Vince McMahon is a businessman and commands respect from his employees. The wrestlers laugh at Tony Khan when he's not around.
