Missing the point. If San Antonio has a team why can't Sacramento? The NBA is unique in the regard that smaller cities have that in town. And it's good for their cities' economies regardless of how good they are. Only draw of the Big 4 means you'll get lots of fan support. Don't know about Orlando, but the other cities aforementioned + Sacramento, they're known for their loyal fanbases.
To serve as a reminder to small markets to not get uppity and try to win rings, or else the league WILL gift your opponents 100 free throws in 2 minutes
Southern California is not Northern California. LA is so far away it might as well be in another state, and no respectable Northern Californian wants to be associated with the bay area and its progressive homosexualry. Anybody in Sacramento or anywhere north of it who is a Warriors fan is the most pathetic form of bandwagoner and has no soul.
sacramento is just people that can't hack it in the bay area but need to feel important because california is still attached to the name. all the amenities of a flyover shithole with the cost of a hard blue state. you have to be brain damaged to live in sacramento willingly. the success of the team lines up perfectly with the city
Sounds unfortunate, always assumed Sacramento was kinda comfy just because you don’t hear about them much.

NorCal is comfy but it's unfortunately attached to the rest of the stare and because it's all California we have the same moronic taxes and regulations and also are consistently stuck with whatever idiots socal elects because there's so many fricking people in LA and SF nobody else in the state should even bother voting at all. I'm still holding out hope for a full blown secession in my lifetime but the dems really do not want to give up those guaranteed electoral seats.

one pro team cities make great filler. they pad up bigger teams records and you're not nearly as likely to lose their fanbase from being losers because they have no other choice
you throw them a bone every once in a blue moon and go bananas
What bone have they been thrown? The league itself stepped in and completely shut them down when they were virtually guaranteed a ring, and one ring for a single team market can sustain them for a hundred years
Same reason why teams in Portland, Utah, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, Memphis, and Orlando exist.
Good call. San Antonio has had no success

Yet seattle doesn’t have a team. Hmmm
They're due for the Sonics' return. But I have no idea when. Question is what will the other city joining Seattle be
Take your picks between Las Vegas, Kansas City, and Louisville.
>Clippers
>marquee
not saying the Kings are either, KC should've found a way to keep them
Compared to the kings the clippers have a nationwide fanbase and actual franchise success

What are you smoking?
Which part of that is a lie?

>not even the best kings in their state

Despite being awful they have a pretty good fanbase

I thought the Sacramento was considered it’s own distinct thing from Northern California

I guess I should have said you throw them a bone once in awhile if you have to and they start getting uppity
Bring them back to KC! I’m 8 hours away from Dallas, Denver, and Chicago and I can’t bring myself to be a fan of the Mavs, Nuggets, or Bulls
Who’s more relevant in Cali; clippers or kings?
