Wotore, a good idea broken by one rule

Wotore is a polish mma promotion with very specific rules:
>there are tournament fights and super fights
>winner of the tournament gets $12 000
>no gloves, just wraps
>no weightclasses
>no fence, falling out 2 times meant loss in the first tournament but since wotore 2, if you fall out, you just fall out
>first 2 rounds last for 5 minutes, third one has no time limit
Banned moves are:
>eye gouging
>biting
>clawing and pinching
>spitting at the opponent
>hair pulling
>groin strikes
>throat strikes
>fish hooking
>strikes to the spine and back of the head
>small joint manipulation
>any unsportsmanlike blah blah
>timidity
As the organizers like to admitt, headbutts and ground kicks are legal.

Most of this sounds based but there's one rule that I strongly dislike:
>after 20 seconds of "inactive" groundfight ref tells fighters to stand up

Of course, if there's a round with no time limit, some kind of protection from stalling is necessary but first, 20 s is MUCH too little and second, the ref is moronic and thinks that g&p in full mount is inactive fight.

If you wanna watch it anyways, here is some fights where Poles fight against KOTS fighters

It's All Fucked Shirt $22.14

Black Rifle Cuck Company, Conservative Humor Shirt $21.68

Wotore so discourages groundfighting its garbage. Like I can understand if some dude just stalls in closed guard or lies back on the ground, but there have been times where one fighter is literally passing the others guard into side control and both fighters get stood up. Absolute bullshit.

It's better for teaching street fighting because it forces you to be active and aggressive instead of stalling, which can be lethal when the other guy has friends. You want to jump in, rip his arm off and stand up again, not play gay grappling chess.

If it's a hooligan thing, this rule is understandable.

If the other guy has friends you fricking lose anyway, irrespective of whether you are standing or on the ground. If his friends come up and surprise you on the ground they can also come at and surprise you when you are standing. The criticism of grappling in many-vs-one situations is weak.

This is just a cope. In reality, you are more mobile when you are standing and can evade a bunch of people. When grappling, it's impossible.

Also, even the Gracies agree that for multiple opponents, grappling is useless:

Only if you can knock them out with one punch or a very quick combination

Your reading comprehension fricking sucks. They didn't say you couldn't grapple multiple opponents. They said they don't believe in fighting multiple opponents.

            Get some friends incel.

        >It's better for teaching street fighting
This obsession about having a MMA promotion that mirrors street fighting really is stupid. Agreed fights in uniform at a precise date, rules, a ref, a precise location are all the opposite of street fighting. Street fighting is the opposite of what a fighting sport tries to be. The idea that "street fighting" should be a goal is completely detrimental to sports in general.

Seems sick. I wanna see more fights.
3rd one was a little strange though, that guy was way out of shape compared to his opponent

    >no gloves, just wraps
this defeats the whole fricking purpose of bare knuckle. The wraps are making your punches even stronger and now you don't have the buffer of the glove to prevent cuts

bare knuckle needs to mean no wraps either, instead of just being a technicality gay and going well the knuckles themselves are bare :^)

I love the new MMA leagues and events coming from my country. This one seems pretty cool. A fellow football hooligan that I go to the gym with was fighting in a 3v3 cage match, unfortunately he got slammed to the ground right at the start.

Also, amerimutts, why football hooliganism isn't a thing in the US?

Like, when I see a US basketball or american football match it seems like it's a family event where people dance and shit, like what the frick? A football match here ends in a mini riot most of the time and during "high risk" matches there are literally thousands of policemen, most of them in riot armor. One of my friends ended up in an ICU with a smashed liver because he wore a cap with our club logo in the enemy city.

Because america falls more into individualism. Most people don't give a shit about what you do or like as long as you don't get in their way. Plus, why fight people when you can just watch hockey players fight each other?

      you tryna get shot?

an armed society is a polite society. I know we have a lot of you know whats but at the end of the day people aren't so quick to start shit because there can and will often be dire consequences
      and that's a good thing
