We’d still have to play during our summer season because purple, yellow and turquoise would be frozen
you might be able to make it work. the original american soccer league had a more traditional schedule, though i think they had a more extended winter break or sometimes they did split seasons.
March till November season?
Sawker
White league would be elite
Imagine the teams of drunken eskimo NEETs
as a league for what
Sex
Which region would join CONMEBOL, UEFA or AFC?
I had to change it because thought having Kansas city in 2 separate leagues was bad. So there are 8 regional leagues now, which actually would work out better for inter-league knockout tournaments
Most of these leagues would have just a couple teams at best. There are only 2 active MLS teams in Red, and Phoenix could realistically make 3 but that's a pretty weird league. There isn't really enough population across the Cyan zone to support significant teams either. Basically only Minnesota would be feasible. There's a reason there are no pro teams in any of the major sports in those other states. Brown is going to be just California teams playing themselves. Maybe a Las Vegas team if the sport is successful enough.
American College Football conferences would be the better base to work from since it is already broken down into tiers and regions based on markets. Though even there we are seeing crazy realignment because they are trying to form super leagues that have nothing to do with geography.
nta but here's the autism known as college football conferences. bear in mind that although the divisions are mainly geographic in origin there's a lot of talks behind closed doors where different schools make deals to leave its conference to join another for various reasons. the map changes basically every year
>various reasons
Money being the most prominent of them
these vary to a pretty ridiculous extent in population. merge the four corners (red) into California’s league for a start.
>four corners
🙂 I liked the idea of the name of the league tbqh
Is this better?
Just remove cyan entirely, put the eastern part of cyan with the rest of the midwest, and the western part with green
>these vary to a pretty ridiculous extent in population
so? it's the same as europa
at current football interest levels, cyan, red, and blue would be dead since those are flyover states that worship handegg outside of a few chicano population centers. purple, green, and peach have a decent chance of supporting their own leagues at some level. there probably wouldn't be promotion and relegation since funding would be unstable and 99.99% of american sports team owners are there to make as much money as humanly possible even if it makes the sport worse to watch (see most shitter pro sports teams like the oakland athletics (baseball team) which actively hates its fans and is running its team into the ground to minimize expenses so it can pocket all the NEETbux from the league)
>usa 50 states, DC, 5 inhabited territories
>canada 10 provinces and 3 territories
that'd make 69 clubs
nice
>i will never see American Samoa vs Nunavut
why live?
>English geography education
maybe a hockey league, I guess. Baseball would work too if you include Mexico and the rest of Latin America. You could combine the NFL and CFL and still include Mexico no problem, and that seems to be in the works.
for reference, here is a functioning US-based soccer league with promotion and relegation and how they divide their clubs geographically. i pride myself as an amateur sports autist but this is legit the first time i've ever heard of them

Far too big a travel area for away fans imo, this is why American soccer fails. You want to build up more local rivalries than be obsessed with markets
>You want to build up more local rivalries than be obsessed with markets
the billionaire sports team owners don't care about sovl and sport only money and markets. a player could die on the field and the owners would be lamenting how the negative publicity would affect their revenue
Here's a map of major college football conferences
However it will change over the next few years, with light blue taking two dark blue teams in Los Angeles, yellow taking two teams from red in Texas/Oklahoma, and red grabbing lower teams in Texas, Utah and Florida.
