Christ showed them how righteous they were by destroying the second temple and overseeing the killing and starvation of a million inhabitants of "righteous" Jerusalem between 66-70AD.
You're literally moronic and all men are shit. Salvation is through Christ and His Word alone.

I live in Dortmund, using the subway regularly and never had any really negative experiences. Even Berlin isn't all that bad. Frankfurt on the other hand is a complete shithole.

I've spent probably thousands of hours on public transport in the Ruhrgebiet and hundreds in Berlin. Never seen anything worse than some drunk, loud people.

Visited Frankfurt exactly once for one week.
            >Needles lying around on the streets making it dangerous too walk in sandals
            >Streets FILLED with homless people, I'm talking hundreds of them on a single street to the point where it's like a festival campsite. This is no exeggaration btw
            >Walk around in the eveing with two feamle colleagues, several times people scream at us that they will "frick them in the ass" and similar stuff. Again, literally NEVER happened to me in the Ruhrgebiet or Berlin. Frankfurt is just a special kind of fricked.

            Anonymous

In Frankfurt it's particularly the main station-area, which is what tourists mostly see.
For me it's the same in Dortmund. I'd never dare to walk that area - placing the soccer museum towards the Nordstadt was not a good idea.
Same shit all the way down the Ruhr main line. With what remains of the shopping districts slowly dying, it's only a question of time until even the former prime sections of the cities will be turned into little-Istanbuls with nothing but phone, loan, barber, coffee and kebab shops, and the odd mosque with a muezzin call once a week.
I take you live in the South? What does your area even have to do with Dortmund? Weren't you forcefully turned into a part of Dortmund at some point (probably way, way before your birth)?

The (southern) suburbs somewhat detached from what is generally considered the Ruhrzone are often fine, the Ruhrzone itself is nothing but a giant liability to anyone at least within Germany.
There is no sugarcoating that absolute cesspit.

You know I still found it fascinating just how stark and different east and west Berlin are.

You walk like 200m and suddenly you're transported to a completely different place.

I can imagine why there'd be such differences between the western and eastern half of the country, when even the city itself is so obviously divided

      >city itself is so obviously divided
when the wall was down, people could visit visa versa and the differences were insane. The decades long division is a huge part of the city. Today its not THAT visible anymore, but you can still see it. The state put A LOT of money into east berlin and eastern germany in general.

I was there not long ago. Maybe to you it doesn't seem that different, but to me they seem like two different countries all together. I haven't seen anything like it before.

It's not that different in cities like Dresden, Leipzig, Potsdam or Schwerin, except that rent is way cheaper and normal people can actually afford to buy a house. I expect more people from the west moving there in the coming decades if real estate prices continue to be this crazy
